I've always wanted to be a part of something bigger than me
Something like a band, that can change lives and minds that I can see
Whether it have anything to do with music or not, I want to leave an imprint on someone's life
Make them see life in a different light
And I realized today that I partially already have that
My friends and I are that
We don't force anything, we just try our best
We don't jest
We just be ourselves, because being yourself is the greatest thing you can do
I don't deserve them too
I'm a terrible person
They get better while I just worsen
They are so much better than me in their own ways
So hopefully we won't run out of days
We'll just stay young forever
Hopefully our friendships will never sever
But I know it will
They have skill
I don't so we'll see how far that gets me in trying to be a part of something bigger
Maybe that'll prevent me from pulling the trigger
The trigger on my future, the thing that sets my future off right
Hopefully one day I'll fly like a kite
