Angel: Now on the scene, we have Christina(XtraTina) joining us!
Angel: Alrighty! Let's get started! Question number one: Can you tell us your earliest memory of Disney?
Christina: My earliest memory of Disney is probably watching Snow White on VHS tape when I was, like, seven? Disney has been my favorite thing ever since.
Angel: You and I are alike in that way! I'm pretty sure Snow White was my first Disney princess idol when I was little. Two: Why did you want to be a member of DisnerdsCentral?
Christina: I wanted to be a member because I loved the idea of being part of a group and community who were as immersed in Disney as I was. It's like having someone to talk shop with!
Angel: Then I'm really glad we took that initiative! Number three: What has been your favorite part of the DisnerdsCentral experience?
Christina: Definitely meeting the other admins. They're such sweet people. And the second would have to be starting the Big Book of Disney Quotes. Man, we had so much fun with that!
Angel: Aww! I'm so happy you think so! Okay then, who is your Disney character that you portray on DisnerdsCentral and why?
Christina: I portray Esmeralda. I really like her sassy, kinda edgy, but still sweet personality. It's really me and I connect with her on a lot of levels. We both try not to judge people off appearances, don't like to be told what to do, are free spirits, people of color, and always have a comeback ready.
Angel: I haven't seen the Hunchback of Notre Dame yet, but from what I've heard, Esmeralda is someone I've really got to meet! But can you believe it's almost been a year since DisnerdsCentral began?
Christina: It's been a year? Where did the time go?
Angel: Hahaha! Exactly what I thought! What is your favorite Disney movie and character and why?
Christina: Now that's a tough question and you'll probably never get a definitive answer out of me. There's too many amazing ones to choose from! Like seriously. Maybe Lion King, or Beauty and the Beast, or Tarzan, or Frozen. I don't know! They're all so amazing and all hold a special memory of my childhood. My favorite Disney character is either Jasmine, Elsa, or Meg. I'm not sure why, but they're all awesome characters.
Angel: I know what you mean. Disney makes their characters so lovable and amazing that I could never choose! Seven: When you learned that you were going to be a part of DisnerdsCentral, what was your initial reaction?
Christina: So excited! And confused, hahaha. I didn't know how you joined a joint account on Wattpad at the time. So this has been a cool and fun learning experience.
Angel: So glad you think so! Truth be told, I haven't run anything quite this large before. So this was new territory for me too! Number eight: What do you love most about our team and family?
Christina: How we get along. Like with a bunch of people all doing something together, you expect there to be tension, but honestly, at least as far as I've experienced, there's been very little. We work together well.
Angel: Yes! Life goal accomplished! Okay, what kind of advice would you give to our audience about when people you meet tell you that you shouldn't be so immersed in Disney?
Christina: Call them an uncultured swine, tell them to let it go, ask them politely if they would like to be a part of your world, proceed to show them a whole new world, then teach them to say: "Hakuna Matata". No, seriously, if someone says something like that, you could remind them that a chunk of their happy childhood was brought to them by Disney and all the songs, laughs, dreams, and great moments and memories they gave us. Why wouldn't you want to immerse yourself in that?
Angel: Preach, sister! I'm completely behind you. Last but not least, what do you plan on doing on DisnerdsCentral for the next year?
Christina: Don't want to spoil any surprises, but recently I've been thinking we here at DisnerdsCentral have kept one very important element of all the great Disney movies: the villains!
