Chapter 5

~Moving Day~

*Cheyenne's P.O.V.*

I woke up in Haley's room. I discreetly left. I went down stairs and her parents were already up. I told them I would be leaving early. Haley's dad drove me home.

When we reached my house, I thanked him for the ride and got out. My parents had already packed up all of our photos and stuff. Sadly, we're leaving our furniture. I get to take all my clothes though! My parents already had all of our suitcases in the living room. They were just doing a final check around the house. I went up to my room and made sure I grabbed everything. I looked around one last time.

"C'mon lets go, honey!" my mother shouted.

"Coming!"

I ran down the stairs. I looked at our house one last time.

"Goodbye memories ," I whispered.

I closed the door. We all piled into the taxi. I checked twitter.

I hit send. I logged off of twitter. Before I knew it, we were at the airport. I got out of the taxi while my father paid the man. I grabbed my bags out of the car. Just as I set all of my things down, two hands cover my eyes.

"Guess who?" A voice asked.

"Kyle?"

"Yeah," he said taking his hands off of my eyes. I spun around to face him.

"Hey. What's up?"

"Well, I have something to tell you."

"Okay. Shoot."

"Listen. I'm just gonna say this flat out. I really like you. I always have."

"Aw. You're so sweet."

"Will you please make me the happiest man alive and be my girlfriend?"

"Yes!"

"Yay!" he said embracing me in a huge hug.

"Wait. There's more good news," he said as he broke our hug.

I gave him a confused look.

"My family is also moving to Connecticut!"

"Really?!"

"Yeah. We got the promotion too!"

"Yay! Now we won't have to be separated!"

"Actually. We really won't be because our parents bought tickets together and we're sitting next to each other!"

"Seriously?!"

"Yup."

"This is amazing. I wasn't excited about moving until now."

"Me either. Let's get going. We don't want to miss our flight."

~In The Waiting Area~

I was sitting with Kyle. We kept talking about how we need to collab. Yes. We're both YouTubers but we're not that popular. Well, I'm not. He is. Guys have it so much easier than girls.

"Okay. I like the idea of a challenge but I think a new way to break in a new neighborhood, is to do a music video," I said.

"True but I think that since we'll still be adjusting then we should do a challenge."

"Good point but I think a music video would be cute."

"True but--" he started but was cut off.

"Flight 209 non-stop to Connecticut is now boarding."

"Time to go," my dad said.

Kyle and I got our stuff.

~On the Plane~

Kyle and I we're in the very back of the plane. He took the window seat. I didn't mind. Yes! Free wifi! I put my bag above in the compartment. I took my seat. I grabbed my computer and put in headphones. I watched some of Jack's old videos. He was so young. I even showed Kyle his "competition." I know what you're thinking. Jack's gonna fall in love with her if they meet. Well, you're wrong. Why would a famous YouTuber like himself, fall in love with a nobody like myself. You're crazy. I took out my headphones. That's enough for now. I have to save my battery. I took out my phone and took a selfie with Kyle.

I posted it to instagram and twitter. Then there was an announcement.

"Hello passengers. This is your captain speaking. We'll be taking off in a couple of minutes. Feel free to still use your approved electronic devices and move about the cabin freely. Once again we'll be taking off in a couple of minutes and this is a non-stop flight to Connecticut."

I grabbed my headphones again and plugged them into my phone. I played some music. How else am I going to kill the time?

Before I knew it we were flying high above California. Goodbye California and hello Connecticut.
