I gently washed the dishes, drying them with a towel afterwards. We had a nice time at the table, and the dinner was good, too. Of course, the silence between me and Devin was rather obvious, yet his mom tried to break the ice, and her son cooperated nicely. I, on the other hand, had no mom to help me become friendlier to a stranger who had just kissed me and moved in my house. In fact, I didn’t have a father, either.

I’d lie if I say they were dead. I’d lie if I say they were gone. In fact, everything I say about them would be a complete lie, since I didn’t know them. I don’t remember them. I don’t know the feeling of having a parent or a relative help you; in fact, I was quite confused as to why people in families helped each other so much.

So what if he’s your dad or she’s your mom, I frowned. That sounds like more of an excuse to ask people for free assistance, rather than something one would do out of love. I personally wouldn’t go and wash someone’s dishes because he/she was my relative. I would do it because I like the feeling of water on my hands and the porcelain in my fingers, as well as the sweet scent of the dishwashing liquid. I would do it for me, not for someone else.

That’s how I live. That’s how my life’s been this whole time, and frankly, I don’t want it to change.

“Bell, honey, where do you want to sleep?” Devin’s mom asked behind me. I felt my skin shiver from her warm tone and the sudden closeness we had. She was a very beautiful and kind woman – the type you’d want to .. you know, stick around with a bit more. A mom one would like to f-..

“I’m sorry for my son’s behavior, he’s not a bad kid .. I think he’s just a bit shy!” She massaged my shoulders with her hands, as I felt her hot breath on my neck.

“Oh, no, it’s fine. It’s half my fault, anyway.” I blurted, realizing what I’d said.

“Because you came?” She asked. I knew her name, but .. ah, I forgot it. I’m not good at knowing people’s names. I barely memorized Devin’s.

“Well .. yes, actually.” I confessed, turning around, only to see the woman press her breasts against my chest. Those pearls were so juicy and voluptuous that I couldn’t help but look at them. They were practically squeezing themselves against my chest, feeling soft, yet tight; moving each time my chest expanded from the deep inhale and exhale I did involuntarily. I could feel my heart skip a few beats and my face warming up, but I couldn’t quite explain what was making me feel like this.

“I’m happy you came, Bell.” She softly murmured, looking at me with those gorgeous, big golden eyes. I gulped loudly and nodded, as shivers ran down my spine when her palm embraced my left cheek. I could feel her cold hands tickle my face and contrast with their much lower temperature than mine. I didn’t know if that was to cool me down, but the result was quite the opposite – my face had gotten redder.

“I..m-me too.” I was startled from her actions, yet I couldn’t help but confess that I was relieved to be here. Spending night after night on the streets wasn’t going to be a good thing at all.

Her gaze slowly lowered on my body, burning my skin through the clothes in the process, and when they stopped at a certain place on my groin, I bit my lower lip and huffed softly. There was something weird happening with my whole body, and things got worse when her eyes locked on my member, which now seemed to be having some sort of a fever, as it throbbed numbly in response to my fears.

“Your face looks flushed .. are you sure you’re alright?” the woman asked softly, after she lifted her gaze to meet mine once more. She looked sincerely worried for me.

“I..I’m fine.” I tried to smile, the suffocating heat spiraling in my stomach and connecting with my groin afterwards. I did feel something similar with Devin, yet it wasn’t as strong as .. this, whatever it was. I almost felt glad the brunette was in his room.
