Real plan for "The other side of the mirror"

Because it IS another side of the mirror. There's this psychology mixed inside a seemingly simple title. For that to happen, we shall take a look at what my incidental genius idea is.

(but first, I shall poop.)

(done, note to self - must leave little thoughts written to keep me in track)

Without further a-do, let's take a look at the title, for it is hiding quite well the whole plot of something I haven't even thought of yet.

"[The other side of] the mirror"

I shall try to transliterate (if it's even a word) the meaning of the words.

The mirror (common grammar rules, THE mirror, not just any other.) has the ability to reflect. Whether we look at the metaphorical or realistic meaning, it reflects everything.

a) Methaphorical

- reflects your actions, which, in this case, are the catastrophic image we see "on the other side". The other side is merely the "past". It has already happened, and if I could, I would put a big-ass dot to end this sentence, to stress the seriousness of this whole plot. The volati (were they?), the dirty air, the blue sun, it has all happened. Unfortunately, even I do not know how did it invert the colours, but it is just one of the tiniest problems that I must write about. Souless people, air polution, LIGHT polution to the extent of blocking its' own shine, and the thick carbon dioxide having replaced oxygen completely. But how? I shall leave it unthoughted, since it gives a nice, mysterious vibe to it .. and also, because you can't know everything.

The causes of the wrecked-up Earth are more than expected, though.

The mirror reflects the actions of every single person living on Earth, making that whole apocalyptic picture that's on the other side of the mirror. Thus, the mirror has two sides, representing not only any reflections, but THE reflection of the present, which has yet to come.

b)Realistic

- It reflects stuff.

"The other side of [the mirror]"

Let's think. What's reflected is THE PAST, because it has already happened, and to prevent it, Devin and Aabel (which have gone through it, the ones in the past) have put the mirror in the exact room, knowing that their future/present selves would meet.

NOTE: THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MIRROR (THE FRONT) REFLECTS THE PAST, WHILE THE BACK ONE - THE FUTURE. Indeed, the meeting had also happened, which is why the course of action is in the past, and also, why I write in past simple. I didn't think of it, I was only considering the fact that I may be wrong writing in PS. I just felt I had to do it.

Of course, the PRESENT is also part of the PAST, so it is, once again, why I am writing in PAST simple .. albeit unfinished.

IT TANGLES.

Devin and Aabel have already gone through all the stuff I'm going to write about, which I'll figure out later, and so, knowing that it will repeat itself once again (how? - BECAUSE IT IS INEVITABLE, THERE IS NO WAY TO CHANGE THE PAST, BUT THERE IS A WAY TO CHANGE THE FUTURE), they decide to put the mirror (THE mirror, because it's always been there. On the day the staff removes all of the old stuff, they steal and keep it safe, thinking that it's the only mirror that connects them to the past) in the dressing room, knowing that a few months earlier, their first meeting will be there, and so, they will touch and break the barrier of the mirror, thus making this whole scenario real (AND THEY DO IT, BECAUSE THEY NEED TO BE TOGETHER TO FIGHT THIS). By touching something that isn't theirs to touch, they break the rules of time and space, making future mix with past and present. In order to stop this, Devin can either leave Aabel to die and keep living in the past, or to join him in the future and unite to help prevent any more catastrophies, and also, to stop living in a lie made by himself. Once again, the future is apocalyptic, but now, he is not alone, as he has Aabel by his side.

Of course, when he gets to that point, he will realise that everything up to this moment had been carefully planned by him and his companion, and so he realises that there is no room for a third option. It's either life in the past or life in the future, and he decides the future.

(AM I THINKING OF A SEQUEAL? COME ON, WHY AM I SO MUCH AHEAD OF MYSELF, CALM YOUR TITS.)

And I asked myself - but how? How do their future selves do that to their past selves, and I know the answer, because at first, there was no way to duplicate them. But .. they're not dublicated.

The future is happening while they are in the past, it's all tangled in such tight and thin strands of time, that in the exact same moment they get to the point of THE decision, the future has decided their answer. This is exactly why Devin can't choose a different option, it has already happened. His choice has been made long before he does it. And from then on, it's the future's time.

Because this gets extremely complicated, I will try to make a little plan of the way it all happens, in order for it to lead to that moment of decision. I shall also keep in mind that everything must make them realise their real purpose in the end, and also - form a strong bond between them, while they're fighting against themselves.

It's like a diamond's form, look.

1)Beginning [the mirror]

2)The centre -The constant fight between classes, school life and the volati coming out of the mirror

3)The difficulties with keeping them inside by pushing them in or fighting them, with Aabel's help

4)The climax, where the volati keep coming and it is no longer an option to fight them, thus resulting in the school's, and soon, the whole world's destruction.

5)The time for repairs, as the school is being refurnished and all the old stuff are being wiped out, just like before, with the exceptence of the mirror, which Dev and Aabel steal, because they think they need it for pushing the volati inside

4)The desperate tries in keeping the volati from going further, pushing the escaping ones with every possibility given

3)The climax, as large groups of volati start going out, with no other option but to watch from aside.

2)The end, where time comes for [realisation, decision], that it is no one other than Aabel who attracts entities and Devin who made him come into the world, and as they think it through, they realise that their world is turning to look exactly like the one in the mirror, and so they realise that what they see on the other side is not the past, but the future of their journey, and so they realise that this has all been set-up by themselves to make them realise that it is no other but them to fight against it.

1)Beginning [the mirror], where Devin must once again choose between saving himself and living in an inevitable catastrophic lie in the past, or saving Aabel and joining forces with him, while living in the equally-hard future.

I shall make them into chapters.

(by the way, Aabel isn't Dev's reflection, that may form a new plot in the sequel?)

Yep, that's it. Some of it may not make much sense, but I'm dumb, let's face it - I don't make the smartest plots out there xD Anyway, love you, guys <3 Thanks for sticking to this story!
