"Her body was a prison, her mind was a prison. Her memories were a prison. The people she loved. She couldn't get away from the hurt of them. She could leave Eric, walk out of her apartment, walk forever if she liked, but she couldn't escape what really hurt. Tonight even the sky felt like a prison."

"No!" Alexa  screamed, eyes wide in horror. The man with the long hair smiled at her, showing her his canines.

"Aww, does the wittle girl want her daddy?" He cooed.

"Yes," she begged, wanting nothing more than to be cradled in her father's strong arms.

His smile turned into something malicious and evil. "Well, you're not getting him." He pressed the trigger.

Alexa acted as if she were in a deep conversation with Zhang when she saw the agent in a white lab coat walk past them. Doing her best to not look suspicious, she pulled him into a weapons room, hoping anybody who saw them would think she was preparing for a mission.

Once they were in the room, she wasted no time in grabbing various weapons ranging from guns to grenades. As she stuffed whatever she could into a bag and in her waistband, she could feel Zhang's bewildered stare on her.

"Are you doing what I think you're doing?"

Alexa checked if the gun was loaded. "'And what is it that you think I'm doing?"

He glanced up at the camera located in the left corner of the room. "Going on your mission."

She smirked. "You got it." It was good to know that he had learned to be cautious with his words in this place.

His eyes widened, but she could see the little glint of happiness shining in his eyes. He had waited for so long for the day we would escape and now that it was here, he was speechless. She had to admit, it was funny to watch the boy who almost always had a comeback lose his words.

"What's the plan?" He questioned, trying to keep his words as insuspicious as he could in case somebody were to be listening to their conversation.

Alexa shrugged. "You'll see." It wasn't like she could tell him the plan here. It was too dangerous. "Trust me."

"I wouldn't be your friend if I didn't." She glanced up in surprise, halting her inspection of the knife's sharpness.

"You think you're my friend?" She questioned.

He smirked. "I know I am."

"You've got quite the ego, you know that?" She asked, throwing the bag pack with all the weapons over her shoulder.

"I know that. Are you ready?" He questioned.

She nodded and opened the door, leading Zhang out. She led them to her room where she grabbed her alienware laptop. Carefully placing it in her bag, she grabbed the money she had saved over the years from under her mattress. Placing that in her bag as well, Alexa looked over at Zhang. "Grab you necessities from your bag. I'll be waiting in room 2B for you."

He nodded and walked out of her room, acting casually as it was currently free hour. Agents could do anything they wanted during this hour, even if it included killing one another.

A few minutes after Zhang had left, she left her room as well, heading for room 2B, the safest room in the building. Nobody bothered to go there because Alexa had marked it as her own, and nobody, no matter how brave, would ever challenge the best fighter. It would be considered stupidity and suicide.
