Once again, enjoy another rewritten chapter. Couldn't find a quote so I put a poem. Oh, and in the last chapter I said they were taking the ferry. Well, change of plans. They drove to Russia (kept that part same), but then they got onto a plane. Just go check that part out. Everything is the same until te part where they get on the dockstation. Re-read it. Sorry about that. (Oh and you find out something cool in that chapter about Zhang)

"The leopard laid low to ambush

Whatever came his way.

When hunger gives big cats a push,

They'll hunt the livelong day.

His whiskers twitched as tensions grew,

He dare not tap his toes,

He merely crouched, maintained his view

Of passing friends and foes...

His back was stretched, at peace for now,

No awkward pains to bear...

While he was poised with furrowed brow

And one almighty stare!

He licked his lips imagining

The thrill the chase would be,

The feast the drawn-out day could bring

If all went hopefully...

His stomach rumbled without shame!

He licked his lips again!

He lacked all guilt, all sense of blame,

Until the moment when

All hell broke loose, the chase was on!

His body was a blur...

And suddenly! One life was gone,

His mouth was full of fur..."

~Denis Martindale

She came up gasping for breath, her wet hair falling into her eyes. She didn’t even get time to take in another breath before she head was being shoved underwater again. Her eyes stayed open underwater as her lungs began cramping. Just before she could inhale water, she was pulled up again by her hair. She began coughing up water she hadn’t even known she had swallowed.

The man pulled up her by the back of her hair so she was facing him. “This is what you get for disobeying my son!” He dunked her underwater again, this time also cutting her forearm with a blade. She tried to pull herself up, but when 2 fully grown men are holding you, it’s practically impossible.

This time, it felt as if they had forgotten that the arm they were cutting belonged to a body, and currently, that body couldn’t breathe. They kept Alexa underneath longer than all the other times. When she felt her consciousness slipping and her need to inhale becoming stronger, Alexa was brutally pulled up again.
