-St. Barth's Hospital, I.T-
And down the rabbit hole Juliet went. Down, down, down; there was nowhere else to go. Scotland Yard and see Inspector Lestrade, only for him to find your file and not Miss Blake's? I don't think so. Down, down, down. Would the fall never come to an end? And down she came upon a heap of stick and shavings, and the fall was over. She had gone all the way down. All the way down to I.T.
There were doors all round the hall and all you could hear were people screaming and the clicking sound of computer keys being slammed by irritated employees who drank too much coffee. Juliet opened the first door on her left, looked quickly inside but closed it in an instant as her ears couldn't bear the sound of people shouting their lungs off at a computer screen. She opened the door again and quickly slid in, trying her best not to shoot anyone's head off. She grabbed the first person she could find, an ordinary woman with a black pencil skirt.
''Tell me, quick. Where can I find Jim!'' Juliet exclaimed, trying her best to be heard.
''Jim? What Jim?'' the short woman answered.
''Oh for goodness sake... Jim, about this tall, black hair...would have started working in the hospital about three or four weeks ago!'' miss Waters said, shouting over everyone.
''Oh my! You're looking for Molly's protégé as people call him...'' she replied, giving a giggle.
''Yes, tell me where he is!'' she sighed in annoyance.
''Very well, right down the hall, last door to your right dear!'' the employee said, giving directions with her hands.
Juliet quickly thanked the lady and ran out the door, closing it behind her and resting her back on it. How do people live like this she thought, it's just a mess in there. At this point, she didn't want to know what Jim's workplace looked like. She wondered how people could live in such a system, stopping as she came upon the last door on her right. The door was easy to open and made a creaking sound as Juliet lay her small palm upon it. It slowly opened, revealing a quiet environment. A few people were sitting at their desk, searching up files and records or playing games. Some were looking into large folder while one was sitting in a large black office chair, his feet on the desk, quietly eating a red apple. There he was. Jim from I.T.
Her heels made an awful sound as she tried to get near his small cubicle, yet no one dared to look at the woman softly passing by them like a breeze, her perfume leaving a faint trail behind her. She popped her head up, so it would be resting on the edge of his rather small yet cozy cubicle. Looking around, it was neatly cleaned, only a few post-it notes hanged on large black folders on his clean desk.
He was lying back in his chair, his black boots propped up on his desk. His hair was as messy as it was the last time she had seen him, still handsome though. His eyes were closed, his head resting on the chair's headrest, he was listening to music. As much as Juliet could hear, he was listening the Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees. In his right hand was held an half eaten red apple with carvings on it, which the tall woman couldn't clearly make out.
''Jim!'' Juliet tried to snap him out of his trance, accentuating on his name, it had almost came out as a small cry for help.
''W-what!'' the man answered scared and surprise, letting his nearly finished apple fall on the ground. He calmed down as soon as he saw who was near him.
''Hi.'' the girl smiled slightly, ''Juliet Waters, Molly sent me. I'm gonna need your help with a little something...'' she stated as she stepped back from where she was standing, quickly grabbing a chair and sliding down next to him.
''Anything for a pretty face.'' he replied with a strong Irish accent. Calmly taking out his headphones and bending over to pick up his apple.
''Right...'' miss Waters blushed, ''You're good with computers right?''
