Many hours later and the guests slowly started making their way out, carrying their long fur coats in their arms and some even carrying their friends out the door. Among the crowd of people who were making their way outside were two familiar faces. Arm in arm, connected more than they ever were, Lexis and Kol gave one last look to Juliet and Sebastian before leaving.
Juliet looked back at Sebastian, a small smirk on her lips as folded her arms across her chest. She looked back at the others leaving, feeling as if she had accomplished something tonight. But now that most of her problems, if she wanted to call them that way, were gone, she could finally enjoy herself instead of worrying where her friends were and if everyone else was enjoying themselves. This time around, she would do thing for herself and herself only.
-A few hours later-
Sometimes what Juliet meant by quietly enjoying herself as the other guests left, was not so quiet and included at least two bottles of wine. It had been at least two hours since Kol and Lexis had walked out, something about a fancy dinner at Lexis' favourite restaurant or some sort... but the brunette was now slumped over one of the bars in the house. The bartender looking down at her as he let out a small sigh, slapping his dirty dishcloth over his shoulder. A disappointed expression on his face as he shook his head at the woman who was now dozing off on top of his counter.
A small smirk appearing on his lips as he loudly slammed down an empty glass right next to her head. With a quick movement, Juliet straightened back up, raising her arms out in front of her in a form of self-defence before she lazily let her arms back down and looked up to the bartender.
''What are you smiling about, you mountain of meat?'' the woman snarled as she let herself slump back down on the counter, mumbling swears at the man. With an eye roll and a sigh, the man took back his glass and turned back around to carefully place it among the others, ''It's not very smart to piss off a woman who thinks about killing people for a living...''
Her heavy head now slumped over her arms as she buried herself in the small rest of alcohol that was left in her glass. Her whole body flinching as she felt a large hand fall upon her frail shoulder, but she was too drunk to even care who it was. Juliet finally turned her whole body around, the back of her head resting on the counter as she just looked up to the man who was towering over her, a smirk on his lips as he held back a low chuckle. His frame towering over her as she placed one of her arm over her eyes to block out the light that was shining down upon her. Letting out a low grunt as she tried her best to punch the man standing before her.
''You look full of energy, boss.'' Sebastian said as he avoided her punches, her movement too slow for him to even react, ''Do you want to go take down the government? I'm sure you're absolutely in shape and in the mood for it.''
''You're a maniac.'' Juliet mumbled, letting her arm fall back down, pushing her other arm to the side a little so that she could get a look at him, ''You're not a man, you're nothing more than a maniac...'' she said, whispering her last words.
''I must say you offend me, boss.'' the man replied dramatically, putting a hand over his heart. The woman let out a loud grunt as he tried to get her to straighten up, placing his arm around her waist as she just lazily slumped over him, ''Come on, I don't think you want what's left of your guests to see you in such a state.''
Juliet whined childishly as he took her in his arms, letting her head fall back down on his chest as she slowly turned herself around. Suddenly feeling Sebastian's body flinching around her as when she opened her eyes, she found herself face fo face with the government itself. The man who stood before her, wore a wide smile from ear to ear, a fitted grey suit with a blue waistcoat and holding in his hand, his usual umbrella.
