Socrates: There's never nothing going on.
If your looking with a clear mind.
Start with the past Dan.
Understand something.
There's nothing you can do to change it.
The past is completely out of your control.
Your up on the rings and you think, last time I didn't do so good.
The past now has all your attention and concentration.
So, throw it out.
The same with the future.
Gee, I hope I really ace my dismount.
I really hope Joy and I get together.
The future now has your concentration.
You see?
So throw it out!
Take out the trash, Dan.
The trash is the thing that is keeping you from the only thing that matters.
This moment.
Here and now.
And when you truly are in the here and now, you'll be amazed at what you can do, and how well you can do it.

A/N: This is yet another film that I haven't even heard of before today... I kinda feel ashamed that I haven't watched it, because that speech from Socrates is quite inspiring for me, because it expresses circumstances I'm currently going through quite well...
