Full Moon

Prologue

“I can hear the waves. Where am I? Close to the sea? My head. It hurts. It burns. Fire spreading through my mind and burning down my brains. The pain I can’t bear. It’s warm. I can feel the sun shining on me. I’m trying to open my eyes. But it hurts too much. Maybe my eyes aren’t used to the sun yet… I’m thinking. Wondering. I don’t remember how I got myself here. However, I don’t remember anything. Who I am, where I come from, where I live... Why is my mind so foggy? Strangely enough, my body hurts a lot. I wonder what happened… Finally, I managed to open my eyes. I’m laying on a beach just as I suspected. Pearly white sand which runs to the aqua blue sea. The waves are coming smoothly to the beach. I can hear them falling on the sand. There are buildings behind me. Small and some big ones. In all kind of colours. I can feel the pain getting heavier. Why? Why am I in such pain? The rest of my body is aching. Oh my! My clothes are torn and I’m bleeding! I have wounds everywhere! Small ones with little streams of blood and a big cut at my upper arm. I can feel my heart pounding faster and harder in my head. Harder. I can feel myself getting drowsy and dizzy. My head is spinning. I don’t have the strength to get to the buildings. I just can’t. I need help. I’m trying to shout or even speak, but all I can is letting out a soft squeak. My eyes are getting heavier. I feel exhausted. I can see someone coming. But the person is too far away to see clearly. I close my eyes. I can feel myself loosing consciousness… I’m drowning in my dreams…”
