Kylie's POVThe weekend went by fast and it's Monday again.
I wore a plain white sweater and black leggings and went to school.
"Kylie!" I hear Claire's voice in the school hallway.
"Hey," I replied, walking over to her and Annie. "What's up?"
The both looked at each other and looked back to me.
"What to do mean 'what's up'?" Annie asked, her eyebrows furrowed.
I looked at them in confusion.
"You don't know?" Claire asked, surprised.
"Huh?" I am completely clueless to what they are talking about.
"Jenny is moving away and she didn't tell you?" Annie finally answered my thoughts.
Oh.
"Really?" I gasped. "When?"
"Next week," Claire informs me.
"So-" before I could continue my sentence, I hear Harry behind me.
"Hey.." he greets me.
"Hey Harry," I answered. "How was your weekend?"
"It's fine, yours?" He asked me back.
"Same," I smiled at him.
"Uhm Kylie, do you mind if me and Annie would come over to your house after school so we could talk about Jenny?" Claire asked.
"Sure!" I gave them a nod.
"Okay," Claire replied, "so we'll see you after school?"
"Of course." I assured them as they walked away.
I turned back to Harry who was awkwardly standing there, his hands in his pockets which makes him look attractive.
Stop it Kylie! He's just a new student!
"Done checking me out?" Harry smirked.
"I wasn't checking you out!" I playfully hit his chest and he pretended to wince.
"Whatever. We all you know were," he shot back which made me roll my eyes.
"So have you thought about it?" He asked as we walked together to our class; History.
"What?"
He chuckled, "You really have a bad memory huh?"
I rolled my eyes.
"I meant the question. You know, the pretend thing I told you?" He said.
"Ohh..." Idiot! How could you forget!
"So do you agree or..?"
I thought for a moment.
Well, there's a first time for everything, right?
"Of course!" I grinned at Harry who is also grinning.
I poked his dimple and he laughed.
"You're so adorable," he whispered.
I swear my face is heating up. Ugh!
"Thanks?" I answered him. Well, it came out more like a question but whatever.
"Anytime love," he chuckled.
We both got into our history class and we both sat together at the back.
