SoundStep are infused with neon fluids that most effectively deliver nutrients from soundwaves throughout the body. When a SoundStep cries, that neon fluid is their tears, and wherever the drop falls will glow with that color for a time. SoundStep often use their tears or blood as paint for festivals.
SoundStep social order is insanely simple. There is a king, and there are his subjects. If a SoundStep is considered "lower class", it is usually because of some previous choice in their lives.
