Chapter 2

I woke up to knocking I sat up and sorted out my hair and told them to come in "Hi I'm Rick"

"Hi sorry I fell asleep it's been a busy day" I said glancing at the clock on wall it was 13:00pm already I'd been asleep for 2hrs

"It's ok, we were all waiting for you downstairs but you never came so they sent a search party" he explained looking round the room I got out of bed and grabbed my phone incase Millie texts "You play?" he asked pointing to the guitar in the corner.

"Yer, I sing as well" I said looking down at the floor

"Really? well you play something for me sometime"

"Maybe" I sighed.

"Right let's go" Rick said turning round and walking down the stairs I started to follow him. When we got downstairs and in the lounge Tee patted the seat next to her and I went to sit down.

"Hi my names Billie" I said starting the conversation

"Hi, I'm Tee"

"Hi, I'm Johnny Tee's older brother" a boy about my age said

"I'm Carmen"

"I'm Tyler"

"I'm Jody"

"I'm Harry" a small boy with blonde hair said

"I'm Floss" a small girl said I think she's the youngest

"I'm faith" a girl who was about my age and had crutches said

"I'm Frank, I don't live here anymore but I still come over quite a lot"

"I'm Mo" a boy with glasses said

"I'm Rick but you've already met me"

"Last of all, I'm Bailey, I'm new aswell" I smiled. Mike came in and told me to come into his office.

"Right, I have spoke to your social worker and she said you would like to go back to your old school"

"Yer I would love to"

"Well, because your school is only 15 minutes away you can go back to your old school." I jumped up and hugged him. I pulled out my phone and texted Louise.

ME:
Guess what

MILLIE:
What??

ME:
I can come back to school

MILLIE:
Really

ME:
Yer

MILLIE:
I'm gonna text everyone one

ME:
Ok I'll speak to you later

MILLIE:
Bye

"Before you go, don't flash that phone about the others might get jealous and don't tell anybody about you belly button piercing" I nodded and walked out I agreed with what Mike said about my phone it was the IPhone 5 but I did save up to buy it but I am not taking my belly button piercing out I got it when I turned 15 last month but I don't get how he saw it.

"Lunch" May-li another care worker, who I haven't met yet,called us into the dining room. As I walked in Rick patted  the seat next to him to sit down.

"What did Mike want you for?"

"He told me I could go back to my old school"

"Your well lucky I didn't get that option when I moved here" Carmen piped up as she was sitting down

"My schools only 15 mins away from here" Carmen nodded tucking into her sandwich that May-li had just placed in front of here

"So how did you end up here" Johnny asked

"Well my mum was only 15 when she had me so she put me up for adoption when I was born, so I went into a foster home but they couldn't look after me so I was  was moved into a care home but I got kicked out for biting someone and then I moved and then after that I've been moved from every care home for fighting"

"Remind me not to get on the wrong side of you" Rick turned to tell me. I laughed. There was a knock at the door Mike shouted he would get it a few minutes later then he walked in.

"Billie there's someone at the door for you"
