Billie Scott- Dumping ground

Chapter 7

When Mike got to Sophie's house I got in the car "How was it?" Mike asked

"Yer it was good" When we got back to the dumping ground nobody was there Mike said that they all went shopping he said I could if I wanted but I said no. I went upstairs and lay on my bed thinking bout last night when I realised I didn't use protection. I got a bit scared but I didn't want to think about it so I blocked it out.

When everyone came back I walked into the lounge and sat down. "How was your friends?" Tee asked sitting down next to me.

"Yer it was good" I said.

"Did you stay up all night braiding each other's hair and tell secrets?" Tyler said sitting opposite.

"No" I said.

"Are you lying?" he replied. I grabbed a pillow and hit Tyler causing him to do the same thing. I laughed putting the pillow down on the sofas and slowly getting up to get a drink. Once I got into the kitchen I poured myself a glass of orange and sat down at the breakfast bar and put my phone down on the counter checking of I had any texts. I didn't. I sighed getting back up and putting my glass in the washing up bowl and went upstairs.

3 WEEKS LATER

I walked into the kitchen where May-li was cooking eggs I went all pale and ran into the bathroom and threw up when I opened the door Mike was standing outside "Your not going to school today" I sighed.

"Why?"

"You have just thrown up"

"Please I'm fine and it is also the dumping ground kids first day a my school they need somebody they know to show them around." Mike thought for a second.

"Fine but if you feel ill to go to the medical room and come get them to send you home"

"Ok" I got in the minivan and Mike dropped me off outside the chemist and Tesco because I said I needed pens but I really wanted to get a pregnancy test, that's why I was so eager to go to school, I went inside and brought the test and went to school. I was planning to do the test at school so I would be able to hold my emotion better then if I did the test at Tesco. So nobody would be asking me whats the matter.

We were all sitting in tutor when the head of yr 10 walked in with Rick, Faith and Johnny they were going to be joining my tutor. 'Great' I thought to myself giving Sophie,Kelly,Millie and Lacy a look of despair and to make things worse my tutor sat them next to me.

At lunch I went and did the test I was waiting for the results, two lines for pregnant and one line for not pregnant, I brought 3, when they came up I breathed in and looked the were all positive, I let a few tears slide down my face, I wiped them away and went back to lunch. When I got to the table I went and sat on Jake's lap "I need to talk to you"

"Tell me"

"Come with me" I told him standing in up and giving him my hand I pulled him up. I took him behind the school. "I need to tell you something,"

"What?" he asked. I started crying Jake pulled me into a hug.

"I- I'm pre-pregnant" I fell to the floor crying he bent down a hugged me telling me everything would be ok. When I had sorted myself out I toke Jake's hand and we walked back to the table.

"Where were you guys?" Connor said sitting down with his lunch.

"Just behind the school" I said winking still holding Jake's hand.

"You naughty children," me and Jake laughed sitting down me taking my usual sit on Jake's lap. I looked around the canteen seeing if I could see the dumping ground lot when I saw them I got up and walked over causing everyone one from my table to look over.

"Do you guys wanna come and sit with us?" I asked, knowing I was getting looks from everyone in the canteen even the teachers.

"No we're fine here" Rick said sort of pissed.

"Why not?" I questioned

"We don't want to ruin miss popular's popularity," he replied

"You won't,"

"Yes we will haven't you seen the looks your getting?"

"Fine, don't be one of the popular people," I turned away quite offended that they didn't sit with us.

"What did they say?" Connor asked

"They didn't want to ruin are popularity," I said. Connor was about to reply when bell for tutor rang.

I sat down in tutor we were spending the rest of the day in are tutor base like we do everyone Monday for PSHE "Right today class we will be joined by 10k for PSHE,"

"Yay!" I said out loud as 10k was Jake's tutor.

"So today we are going to be working in pairs, girl and boy and it's going to be about money and how to spend it wisely" Miss White 10k's tutor said, everybody went silent "What are you all hanging around for, get into your pairs and get a laptop from the back of the one between two." luckily everyone had a boy and girl pair.

"Everybody looking at me," Mr Smith said "Right, in your pairs your going to be a couple and you have 2 kids, you want to find a 2/3 bedroom house or flat but you have a budget 1,500 to spend today and you can't go over after you have found you house and checked it with me or Miss White, you buy food for the rest of the week so find the cheapest food,"

"Sir, where are we looking for a house?" Faith asked

"Any where you would like to live." He looked around for more hands and went and sat down.

"Billie, what website are you looking on for houses?" Kelly turned round and asked.

"All of them you have to make sure"

"Ok thanks" Kelly said turning around I looked at who she was working with, no she is working with Johnny I shrugged it off.

"Where do you, me and Rebecca want to live?"

"You named are baby, whats if it's a boy?"

"It's a girl and we are calling her Rebecca"

"Ok, let's live in Brighton,"

"Ok" Jake went onto rightmove and put in rent, Brighton, 2 to 3 bed house or flat. "How about that one?"

"Yer, I like that one and it is way in our budget," it was £646 a month 3 bed house in a small town in Brighton. "Sir, we have found a house," he got up and walked over.

"Let's see 3 bed house £646 a month," he checked a bit more and told us it was ok and now we had to find food that would last us a week with 2 kids we went onto the Tesco website and found food.
