Billie Scott- Dumping ground

Chapter 9

After school I walked over to costa to go meet my mum but i was having second thoughts like "what if she only wants money","what if I see her today and never again" and "what if she don't love me". I went in and sat down at a table waiting for her to come in she should be here any minute.

An hour later

She still hadn't turned up I got up to leave when I realised she could be sitting somewhere, I checked around nobody was there so I walked over to the car park and waited for Mike to pick me up.

When we got back to the dumping ground I went in chucked my bag on the floor, went into the living room and sat on the sofa. "Where you been?" Rick said

"None of your business." I replied getting up and walking out quite annoyed (well more than annoyed) that my mum didn't turn up so I decided I would text her.

ME:
Where were you today?

I waited for a reply knowing she probably wouldn't reply back but then BEEP! BEEP! I checked my phone expecting it to be Kelly or someone but it was actually my mum.

MUM:
Sorry I totally forgot I had a job interview and then I went home to get changed but I fell asleep. I totally understand if you don't want to see me again but if you do just text me and we will sort something out and maybe I can get hold of your brother and we can all do something together.

ME:
I wish it was that easy you let me down!

I shut my phone down went upstairs grabbed my suitcase and packed a bag I couldn't stay here anymore I just wanted to leave I have had enough of everybody and everything you have no privacy and Rick is really annoying me. I texted Jake.

ME:
I have had enough of this house so can I plz come and stay with you I can't live here anymore

JAKE:
Come over and stay my mum will not mind she loves you.

I got up grabbed all my bags and left I walked downstairs and stood at the door for a second just to make sure I had everything when Rick walked past "What you doing?" he asked walking closer to me

"I'm going to stay with Jake,"

"Does Mike know?"

"No and he will not know because your not going to tell him." I picked up my bags and walked out

"Will you be a school?" Rick called

"I don't know we will have to wait and see."
