We ran through the doors of PGH with the rest of our class, screaming and shouting. It was over! We dotted our I's, crossed our T's and wrote our LAST High School final. We all hugged and cheered, celebrating the near end of one chapter and the beginning of another. I spun around, looking for any sign of Caleb. We spotted each other at the same time. I grinned the widest grin that I could and he grinned back. We began walking towards each other but walking was so...slow. We picked up the pace, eventually running until we crashed into each other.
I wrapped my rams around Caleb's neck as we kissed and he spun me around. "We did it, baby!" he said excitedly as he put me down. "Goodbye, senior year!"
"One stop closer to graduation!"
"Guys!" We looked over to see Becca running over to us, Jackson and Emily in tow. We had plans to head off campus after we finished our finals. It was perfect timing too, seeing as it was already lunch time. "Gabby's having a celebratory party tonight. Carpool?"
It was Friday and it was the last day of our senior finals. "Of course!" he said.
"Sweet! Now let's go grab lunch," Jackson said. "I don't know about you guys but that final woke my appetite right up!" He left the group and bounded over to his jeep, which was parked right next to Caleb's car. Becca rolled her eyes and dragged eh Em to the jeep. Caleb and I walked over to his car. As he sat down, Caleb pulled two tickets out of his jeans pocket. "Prom?"
I smiled and kissed him lightly. "Does that answer your question?" I kissed him again. A horn suddenly blared and we looked over to find Jackson, Emily and Becca hooting at us. I rolled my eyes and kissed Caleb again, flipping them off. Caleb threw his head back and laughed as he started the vehicle.

It was one week to Prom and I still hadn't got my suit yet. Caleb and I agreed that we wouldn't go Prom shopping together. Stupid, I know. But super cute, right? Luckily, I found a suit in time.
The night of Prom, I was still in my room getting ready when Caleb got to my house. I heard my Mom fussing over how handsome Caleb looked and I blushed. "Honey, your boyfriend's here!" she shouted up the stairs. I took one last look in the mirror and straightened my tie. I exhaled. I was nervous about seeing Caleb and I had no idea why.
I exited my room, closing the door behind me. As I got to the top of the stairs, I saw that Becca, Jackson, Emily and another boy named Ryan were there too. They all looked great in their own right but it was Caleb who had my heart fluttering. Holding a box in his hands, he looked so handsome, so dashing, so...hot. Dressed in a navy suit, complete with bow tie, white shirt and corsage pinned on his lapel, he looked up at me and our eyes connected. Short on the sides and a little longer on top, gel held his usual fauxhawk - parted asymmetrically, in a sleek and sophisticated coiffe. As usual, black studs adorned each of his ear lobes. I had not other words: Caleb is hot.
He smiled at me as I came downstairs. In my black suit with striped skinny tie, white shirt and waistcoat, I felt incomparable standing next to Caleb as I was dressed nowhere near as impeccably as he. "You clean up nice," he said, leaning in to kiss my cheek as his hand came to rest on my waist. "Really, you look super handsome, Jace."
"You," I said, grabbing on to his arms. "YOU look hot."
I was startled by a sudden bright flash. I looked in the direction of where it came from to find my mother with her camera. "He's right, Cale" she said. "You do."
"Mom!" I said, gesturing to the camera.
"Oh honey, it's your senior prom!"
"I don't mind the pictures. It's the sudden pictures I mind!" I said, blinking rapidly.
