"They tried to make me go to rehab but I said no, no no."

"Yes I've been black but when I come back you wouldn't know, know, know."

Alison laughed as she looked up, founding Emily singing in great joy along to the lyrics of Amy Winehouse.

After Emily walked out of the room she turned her attention once again on trying to find them something to eat. But the task was harder than she thought, they had absolutely nothing in their fridge. And even if Alison would use her imagination there was no way she was going to put something together.

"Em!" Alison yelled over her lungs, trying to get her attention over the music that was still playing in the background. While walking up to their room she takes a quick glance out of their huge window, noticing how the weather is on her side today.

"Emily," Alison starts once she's in the bedroom only to find her bent over in lingerie to grab herself a new pair at the bottom of the closet. Just that sight makes Alison's throat dry. "I uh- There's nothing in the fridge why don't we eat out." Alison suggested, trying not to think about the things she rather wanted to eat in.

"Sure" is all Emily replies as Alison walks out of their room, ready to get Mackenzie for their  little trip.

That may have consume quite some time but in the end they were walking in the city that was coming to life. They decided to just let their feet guide their way, until they found a nice place to eat. They weren't in a rush and Alison couldn't have asked for better company.

Walking next to a sweet and cozy French themed restaurant Emily's eyes opened in amazement, something that catches Alison's eye. "You want to eat something here?" Alison asks snapping Emily out of her day dream.

Emily slightly blushes, looking away immediately. She wanted Alison to chose. "It's just, I always read about Paris and I've always wondered how it would be. Eating a croissant before visiting the Eiffel Tower, it would be like some sort of fairytale." Emily says losing herself in her dreams about that place. When she was twelve years old she first read a novel about a couples stay in Paris, since then she's been in love with the city.

"Well, right now I can't take you there." Alison starts placing her hand on Emily's, who was pushing the stroller, "but I can offer you a croissant."

Their way back was the perfect chance for Mackenzie to fall asleep but of course she had to do the exact opposite. After impatiently sitting for more than a hour during breakfast she had reached a new peak of energy. Alison wondered if there wasn't a possibility hat they shared some genes, she knew for sure that the attitude from that girl was more similar to her then to Emily's. Because that girl would start to cry the second they would try to carry her

So now Alison was trying to guide a toddler who can barely walk in the busy streets of New York, fair to say it isn't exactly the most comfortable thing. Not to mention all the glares Alison gets along the way.

Emily's idea was it to go to the place they went to every week in the absence of Alison, the playground just a few blocks away that Mackenzie loved. Arriving, she immediately went over to sit on the first bench she saw, needing a break. While Emily went and play with Mackenzie in the sand, with Alison watching them with amusement.

Occasionally Emily caught Alison's gaze knowingly only to make Alison blush and look down, but before those actions could occur for the third time someone blocked her view.

Well when the man spoke up, she could name the 'someone' immediately. She would recognize that English accent everywhere.

"Alison, what a coincidence." Yep she was right. When she looked up, squinting her eyes in the process because of the sun, she found Harry looking down at her with a smile plastered on his face. Yeah what coincidence.

"So that's the girl right, what a hottie." He says excited and it takes Alison a second to realize he's talking about Emily. It made Alison jaw clench, not only because he was talking like that about her Emily, but Alison really hoped she would just get one fucking day for just the three of them.

To make it worse, Emily and Mackenzie came up to them. Making it inevitable for Alison to not introduce them so the conversation would even last longer.

"You haven't mentioned dinner yet?" Harry says, snapping Alison out of her thoughts.

A confused Emily turns to her, but she choses to ignore her. "No, unfortunately I didn't have the time yesterday." Alison speak up eyeing Emily when she mentions yesterday. "But we'll talk about and I will let you know."

"Harry." A voice calls out to him, making Harry excuse himself. "It was nice to see you again, but I must go my boyfriend is waiting." He says before turning away to walk over to a blonde haired man Alison can spot.

"Who was that?" Emily asks curious setting Mackenzie on the ground who desperately wanted to get away from Emily's grasp. "Just someone from work." Alison replies taking Emily's hand in hers not wanting to talk about it any further, which Emily senses.

"So love, what do you want to do next?"
