Chapter 18 Flashback

"What a shame," Alison starts looking over to Emily over the paper. "You were just to late, you didn't actually think you were going to have your happy ending did you?" Alison says but stops. "Emily don't listen to her, she's ju-" but Alison gets interrupted by Emily, "just read it."

So Alison continues, this time in her head. "I don't Know what you and my daughter think you have but let me remind you of what you are. You are nothing compared to her, you two are too different from each other. Would you really risk that for someone who is the same as you? Your own daughter.

What kind of mother would you be then? I only want the best for Alison and we both know that you aren't. So I'll make you a deal, call me tonight when Alison doesn't see you. Tomorrow we can meet, you give me Alison and I'll give you everything you ever wanted. A nice life, far far away from here. A chance to start over again, with enough money and your daughter.

"What are you going to do?" Alison crooks out. Emily just shrugs.

"Emily talk to me, we can come up with a plan. We can go over there and get her back." Alison says in one breath turning her back on Emily. "Ali-" "no we can fix this, we can get her."

"Ali-" Emily tries again but she gets cut off again. "We just need a plan, a simple plan."
"Alison!" Emily says now raising her voice at the blonde who looks shocked at her.

"She won," Emily whispers. "But I've got a plan." Alison looks at her, expecting for her to continue but she doesn't, Emily just stares at her.

"Well if you're not going to tell me about your plan I'll tell you mine." Alison says angry at her. "Call her, I'll go back." Alison says bluntly

"No." Emily says getting on her feet quickly. "You're not going to that monster, you won't be safe." Emily says but mumbles a something after it very quickly. "What did you say?"

"And," Emily begins looking Alison in the eye, "you won't be with me." Alison comes over to Emily desperately wanting to show the brunette some affection, so Emily knows She feels the same.

"Emily, I just.. I need to face this. There's just something you do with me and I can't explain it to you." Alison says grabbing both Emily's hands and then she feels that sparkle again when their hands touch.

She knows she can't deny it anymore, she knows she can explain to Emily with just one simple word: love. "I want you, no I need you. Look at me stumbling over my words, you're the only person who can make me do that. Who can make me feel so insecure when I'm around you but so secure when I'm in your arms. You're the first person who makes me feel this and I think..no I know that I love you, more than normal friends do. And I'm sorry if you don't see me that way, it's okay you don't have to. And this love made me blind, it made me think that we could actually run away and have our happy ending. But don't you see that there's no solution for this, I took it too far and I'll take the blame. You've given me the best days of my life and I'll never forget them. Besides, I'll be able to handle myself but I don't want to risk your daughters life." Alison feels tears streaming on her check but she doesn't want to use her hand to wipe them away. She wants Emily hands to be in hers, for as long as it's possible.

"Alison I love you too, I-I feel the same about you." Emily admits the tears forming in her eyes. She closes her eyes hoping this is all a twisted dream. "So this is it." Emily sighs wrapping her arms around Alison neck.
