I can not apologize enough readers! I feel like such a jerk and a slacker! I left you guys on cliffhanger of this book. I didn't continue this story for ages, BUT, I have a reason.
Two words:
Writer's Block
I hate it so much! Here's is part 2, and I promise part 3 won't take as long.
Sorry again. 😃Ezra sat on his bed as Hera slowly unwrapped his bandaged eyes.
He heard her gasp which surly meant it wasn't good.
He opened his eyelids to revel ghostly grey pupils.
"Ezra. I'm so sorry" Hera whispered before hugging her boy closely.
Ezra really wished he could cry to relieve the deep ache inside him.
He wouldn't see again. Ahsoka was gone.
And everyone else was probably hurt in the inside.
He breathed out heavily with misery as Hera drew away and placed a hand on his cheek.
Ezra pressed into it with a small sigh.
"How's Kanan?" He asked after a while.
"In his cabin. He's hardly talked since you got back."
"I don't hate him. It was my fault I got blinded, I did it to myself to save him" Ezra told her.
"Oh Ezra. You'd rather put others lives before yours. But you have to talk to Kanan. He's not himself." Hera drew her hand away.
Ezra sighed again and put a hand on his forehead.
"Why did it have to turn out like this Hera? The trip to Malacore wasn't supposed to be like this. I'm blind, Ahsoka's gone, and Kanan..."
"He's hurt emotionally Ezra. I talked to him before he shut himself up in his cabin. He said he thinks that he should have been killed instead of you going blind."
"He blames my blindness on himself?" Ezra asked.
"You said it" Hera sighed helping him off the med-bay bed.
Hera put an arm round Ezra and led him out of the room. Ezra laid his head on her arm, closing his eyes.
'Not much point of them being open' he thought sadly.Kanan sat on his bed. A tornado of emotions swirling inside his heart and chest.
Anger, grief, fear, sadness, all the negative feelings of pain.
He got Ezra blinded.
He made his Padawan never be be to see again.
He let himself trust Maul.
Ezra was protecting him, he knew that. But he couldn't stop blaming himself for hat had happened. If Ezra hadn't saved him, he wouldn't be blind.
No matter what Hera had told him before, that wasn't going to stop him from blaming himself.
Ezra had trusted Maul to begin with, and Kanan didn't blame Ezra in the slightest. Maul had them all tricked.
Maul swung that blade that blinded his Padawan.
In his anger, Kanan clenched his hands together tightly, before scraping his nails against his palms.
He repeated the process for five minutes before stopping. He looked down at his hands to see long scratches down them. Blood trickling from the scars, red marks staining his hands.
He didn't regret it. The physical pain took him momentarily away from the emotional pain.
Looking away from his work, he opened his compartment under his bed and took out the Sith Holocron.
He remembered what his Master had told him.*...Flashback...*
Caleb Dume followed his Master on a walk round the Jedi temple.
"Master?" Caleb asked.
"Yes Padawan?" Depa responded.
"You always tell me that the Sith is the Dark side of the Force. That they were the bad side. But, they use their power to protect themselves and their facilities don't they? So aren't they just protecting themselves because that have to?"
Depa smiled down at the boy beside her.
"Caleb. The Force is a very strange thing. It's powerful, greater then anything else in the world. Yes, we call them the bad people, but their simply using the Force in a way that creates harm towards anyone. Try to remember that Padawan."
"Master Yoda said there is no try" Caleb replied.
Depa chuckled.
"So he does."*...End Flashback...*
Kanan looked down at the Sith Holocron. Did he dare do it? Abandon his training for his crew?
With a growl of frustration, he threw the box back under his bed and gripped his head.
Breaking down into tears, he sobbed into his arms.I am so sorry again for the massive wait!
Please don't kill me. 😐
Part 3 should be out soon. 😀
I will need inspiration for the next few parts though. So got any ideas? Don't be afraid to tell me because, honestly, I think I'm gonna need them. 😊Star-Wars-Dragons 🐲
