Blinded by trust

Protection gone wrong

"Are you sure about this Ezra?" Hera asked worridly as she flew the Ghost towards an Imperial communications tower.
"I'll be fine Hera. I promise. I have Sabine, Zeb and Kqnan to help me. Just come when we call you" Ezra replied. 
"Okay. But if anything goes wrong..."
"I know, I know. We'll be fine." 
Ezra left the cockpit and Sabine helped him to the ramp.
He had finally persuaded Hera and Kanan to let him do a mission.
It wasn't too hard.
All he had to do was use the Force to keep Stormtroopers back while Chopper got information.
"You ready kid?" Zeb asked as Ezra slid down the ladder.
"More then anything Zeb. It'll be great to get out there again​" Ezra smiled.
Kanan stood leaning against the wall of the Ghost.
Feeling a little nervous about his Padawan's safety.
The ramp opened.
"Jump on three" Sabine told Ezra who nodded.
"One, two, three!"
The Ghost flew close to the ground.
They leapt off and break rolled.
"Woo! Man it feels good to get back to in the field!" Ezra grinned.
The others had to smile at the boy's enthusiasm.
The ran to the tower with troopers already shooting at them.
Ezra threw at least twelve against the walls of the building.
Chopper plugged in to the access port and bean downloading the files.
Sabine, Ezra, Zeb, and Kanan were firing at the Stormtroopers.
Finally, Chopper was done and warbled to the others.
"Great. I'll com Hera" Sabine said.
Ezra listened carefully.
It sounded like there were only a few troopers left.
"I can take them!" He called to the others.
Pulling out his lightsaber, he ran at what he thought was five bucket heads.
However, there were twenty.
"Ezra! No!" Kanan yelled. He used the Force to pull Ezra back.
Unfortunately, in his fear of his Padawan getting shot, he tapped into the Dark side and used a bit more power then he intended.
Ezra was pulled across the room and stuck the wall hard.
Collapsing to the ground, he didn't move.

Heh heh. Cliffhanger.
