Ezra didn't know what was in front of him but it wasn't trying to kill him so he assumed it was a friend.
"Ah you heard my call. Good. Your imbalance woke me from a deep slumber."
"Imbalance?" Ezra asked.
"Your presence is like a raging storm in this quiet world."
"You're a Force weilder" Ezra realised getting into a meditation position.
"But you're not a Jedi."
"Weilder? Jedi and Sith wield the Ashler and Bogan, the light and the dark. I'm the one in the middle. The Bendu. What do you call yourself?"
"I am Ezra Bridger. Jedi Padawan" Ezra replied.
"You carry conflict with you Ezra Bridger. Jedi Padawan" Bendu said.
Ezra sighed and took the Sith Holocron from his belt pouch.
"It's this."
"Ah ha. Interesting" Bendu mused using the Force to take it.
"Careful. It's..." Ezra heard the clicking sound of the Holocron opening.
"Dangerous" he sighed.
"How so?" Bendu asked.
"It's a Sith Holocron. A source of evil. My master's been using it and I'm afraid that it's changing him."
"An object cannot make you good or evil. The temptation of power. Forbidden knowledge. Even the desire to do good can lead some down that path. But only you can change yourself."
"Not always" Ezra sighed.
"Ah. Your conflict becomes clear. That device in the ground, why do you have it?" Bendu asked.
"It's keeps the spiders from attacking me" Ezra replied.
"May I see it?"
Ezra nodded.
He heard the Bendu take it from the ground. There was a sudden snapping sound and two thuds.
"Hey! Hey! What did you do?!" Ezra exclaimed.
"I'm helping you" Bendu did calmly.
"It was the only thing protecting me from those creatures" Ezra told him, beginning to panic.
"You believe that. But you must learn to see things differently now."
Ezra could hear the spiders approaching.
"Look. I can't see anything not anymore" Ezra said angrily.
"No. You are unwilling."
"Are...Are you saying there's a way to restore my vision?" Ezra asked. Not daring to believe what he was hearing.
"Your sight cannot be healed. But I can teach you to see. If you're willing."
Ezra took off his mask and looked up at the Bendu.
"What must I do?" He asked.
