Bruce P.O.V
"I understand, sir. You can count me." She said with a smirk and a slight glimmer of determination in her eyes. I watched as she organized the one huge pile of papers and letters into three separate piles: one for the papers that need filing, the second for the letter of invites, and the third for the letter of notices. It's irritating to see how calm she is, but I must say I am impressed that she can keep her composure after my outburst.
"You can use the desk outside. Enter all the data and my schedule into the computer." I told her. She nods and starts to take each pile to the desk.
After (Y/N) takes the last pile, she turned to me. "Is there anything else that I can do for you?"
"Actually, yes. The person that was talking to on the phone was Sarah Whitley the owner of a Medical Corporation. I would like you to set up a dinner reservation at the Rose Café for two for tomorrow night."
"I understood, Mr. Wayne." I smiled a little when I saw a glimmer of displeasure grace her face for a split second. 'So, I can get under her skin.'
"I will show you where the filing room is after I speak to Mr. Wayne, alright?" Lucius told her. (Y/N) nodded, and closed the door behind her when she left.
Lucius signed. "You could have been a lot nicer to her. It's not like it's her fault. The board noted that you need a secretary to help you with work and scheduling, since your nightly prowls had kept you from important appointments and meetings lately. Especially, the one you made with Ms. Whitley last night." He explained.
"It couldn't be helped. The Joker escaped from Arkham Asylum again last night." I groaned in frustration. I sat in my chair pinching the bridge of my nose. It's like every time I take him to Arkham he finds some way to escape. I took a deep breathe. "What if she finds out my secret? Did you at least run background checks on her?" I said calmly.
"I did." Lucius nodded and he pulled out files that were hidden in his jacket. "She is quite a woman. She majors in business, but she minors in computer science, chemistry, and medicine. Even though she had her share of misfortune, all her past employers say that she always keeps her composure and works hard. And, I think we can trust her with your little secret if she finds out." He praised as I look through her files.
"Alright fine. I will give her a chance and try to be less abrasive." I sighed. Lucius nods with a smile and left.

I shuttered as the cold night air hit my face as I walked down the dark, empty street of "Crime Alley". After the long day I had at work, I just want to go home and take a long hot bath. I was able to finish all of the task that Mr. Wayne asked of me, thanks to Lucius. After Lucius was done talking with Mr. Wayne, he showed me where the filing rooms were and how the computer system works. He also apologized for Mr. Wayne's behavior and explained to me why he was so upset. Apparently, Mr. Wayne's Board of Directors were not happy with him disappearing all the time, so they wanted someone to keep an eye on him. So, as it turns out, I'm a babysitter to a spoiled-rich playboy.
'But I can't help feel for him. The board did go behind his back and hired an assistant just to spy on the him.' I sighed. I crossed my arms over my jacket to keep from shivering.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here." I quickly turn towards the raspy voice to the man standing right behind me. He grabbed both of my wrists and pulled me to a dark alley nearby.
"Let me go! HELP!" I screamed before he back handed me.
"SHUT UP, BITCH!" He demanded as pinned me to a wall. He pulled out a stiletto pocket knives and gently brushed my cheek with it. With a wicked smiled, he started to cut the buttons on my jacket. "This is going to be fun." He whispered in to my ear.
"NO! STOP!" I cried as I kick in between his legs causing him to fall to the ground in pain. I was about to run, but something tripped me and I fell onto the pavement knocking off my glasses. I looked at my legs and saw that my attacker was grabbing my right leg. "AHHHH! LET GO OF ME!" I screamed as I tried to kick him off, but he was to strong. He straddled my waist, pinning me down with both of my wrist down above my head so I can't move. Tears ran down my face as he started cutting my blouse with his free hand.
He leaned down 'til his mouth was close to my ear. "You know you are a lot prettier without your glasses, Sweetheart." He chuckled. I can feel his hands start to grope one of my breast when suddenly someone yanked him off me.
I sat up quickly, looking around only to see... "Batman."
