(Y/N) P.O.V

"I swear (y/n), you need to be more careful." Sam lectured as she drove me home from the police station. "You're lucky Batman was there to save your ass."

"Yeah I was lucky Batman was there". I said while glancing out the window looking out at the dark city night.

"I mean seriously, why did you think it was a good idea to walk alone at night and down Crime Alley." Sam said concern still coming from her voice.

"It's not my fault. I had to work late." I said as I keep staring out the window. My mind slowly went back to the kiss that I shared with Batman. 'I can't believe I did that. How childish can I be? I should have better control of myself.'

"HEY! EARTH TO (Y/N)! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!" I jumped and quickly turned my attention back to Sam.

"Aa...Sorry. W-what were you saying?" I stutter out. Sam stopped at the red light and leaned closer to my face.

"Are you sure you are okay? You seem distant. Not to mention, your look a little flush. Just what happened in that alley?" She asked with concern in her blue eyes.

"Nothing happened really. Batman saved me from the guy and that's it. I'm okay, really." I said putting on a fake smile, but I could see that Sam wasn't buying any of it.

"Come on, (y/n). We've been friends since kindergarten so you know you can tell me anything." Sam said as she faced forward and continued driving. I let out a deep sign. She's right. We've been best friends since the first day of kindergarten, after I protected her from a bully.

"Alright. So maybe after Batman saved me, I might have sort of kissed him." I said sheepishly.

"WHAT!" She screeches in shock as she accidently stops the car short. A car flew passed us honking their horn, but Sam just ignored them. She quickly parks the car on the side of the road and turns to completely face me. "Are you serious? You kissed 'The Batman'. How?!"

I took a deep breath and told her everything. How I was actually hired to be Bruce Wayne's babysitter. How I fought off the man until Batman came and save me. Why I broke down crying afterwards. How he tried to comfort me. How I just kissed him without thinking.

"Wow, sounds like you had quite the day." Sam said with a shocked look on her face.

"I know." I said sadly as I looked down at my hands. I felt her lean over and hug me.

"You must be tired. Are you sure you are going to be okay?" she whispered.

"Yeah. I think a good night's rest is all I need?" I smiled weakly.

"Ok." She said as she pulls out of the parking spot and heads home. "Sooo, was he a good kisser?"

"Sam! Oh my gosh! You're terrible. And besides, it was too quick to tell." I turn my head back to the window to hide my embarrassment. I could see the reflection of my face turn as red as a tomato. I hear Sam laughing.

"Oh, come on. It's not every day you get to kiss 'The Dark Knight'. So, how was it?" She laughs as she poked my side.

"Ok, ok. I will admit the kiss was nice, but it was just a kiss. It didn't mean anything." I said timidly as I face her again.

"The blush on your face says otherwise." She smirked.

"Hey!" We both started laughing. She always knows how to cheer me up, even since we were kids. "Thank you, and thanks for picking me up. I'm sorry you had to miss work."

"Oh please, (y/n). What are friends for?" She smiled as we reached our apartment building. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail and she was wearing her manager's uniform from work. Sam is the manager at a fancy restaurant called Rose Café.

'Wait. Rose Café. Why does that...? OH, NO!'

"I FORGOT TO SET UP THE RESERVATION! Sam, I was supposed to make a reservation at the Rose Café for Mr. Wayne and his date tomorrow night. Do you think you can help?" I whined.

Sam laughs. "Ha, Ha. I'll do you one better. I will reserve one of our balcony tables, just tell me what time." She said as she parked the car.

I pulled out the agenda book that I created for Mr. Wayne from my purse. "Well, I think 6:00 p.m. would be the best bet, since he only has one meeting at 12:00 p.m. Plus, I noticed on the computers that he would sometimes skip meetings or important events if it goes past 8:00 p.m."

"Wow, you really did your homework. Alright, then 6:00 p.m. it is." She smiled.
