Now before I get into this, let me make a shoutout to romanticcchemicals for supporting me in this story. Thank you for being my first one-of-a-kind reader for this. I promise I will update this as much as I can.

Speaking of which, I have yet to determine a regular posting schedule. School right now is -well- school. Lessons aren't really hard yet. I will inform you readers if ever. For now, my posting schedule is whenever I please.

Enough about the schedule, let's just get into the actual story. Please gimme some feedback about this. I LOVE YOU ALL!

"So that means if the legs of the right triangle are equal, it means..."

"It means that it's an isosceles right triangle, Mr. Nelson." Lenn stated.

"So I'll always multiply square root of two to one of the legs to determine the hypotenuse?" Magnus queried.

"That's right. Wow, you understand easily for a newbie." Lenn teased.

Magnus smiled and narrowed his eyes at Lenn, "Excuse me?"

Lenn laughed, "Nothing, nothing. Pasensya na (Sorry)."

It took Lenn a while to reestablish what he was doing. He was tutoring the new student, and decided to make fun of him out of nowhere. He was even sitting on the armchair beside Magnus', even though Lenn usually stood whenever he had taught people with the lessons, which was...never. No one had really approached him before, so technically this was the first time.

He needed to remember that Magnus could be a potential ass crack; he could just be using Lenn for this specific time, because- Lenn didn't know- Magnus was probably still trying to settle in. Once Lenn was finished teaching Magnus, he decided mentally to never speak to him again. That was the plan.

Magnus covered his face with his palm. Lenn thought he heard him chuckling. No, that couldn't be, could it?

"Are you laughing?" Lenn asked, trying as best as he could to avoid body contact.

Magnus revealed his mocha-brown eyes and his nose, "What do you think, smart ass?"

Did he just...?

"Oh, sapakan na tayo? (Let's beat each other up)" Lenn playfully threatened.

"Yeah, come at me." Magnus sarcastically obliged.

Then they both suddenly bursted into laughter. Lenn hasn't felt this much fun talking to someone before. Was this how fun it was having a friend? Were the two of them even considered friends? It felt... amazing. Lenn wanted to ask Magnus if they were friends.

"Mr. Nelson," Lenn asked, "I have a-"

"Magnus."

"What?"

"Do you not know how to spell? M-A-G-N-U-S. Magnus. Duh."

"Of course I know how to spell your name!" Lenn reinstated.

"Yeah, sure~" Magnus said with a grin.

"Are you implying something?"

"Oh, no~. I'm clearly only outsmarting the top notcher of this class."

"Says the guy asking for help in his Geometry notes." Lenn tilted his head, whilst placing his elbow on the armrest, making his chin rest on his left cheek.

"..."

"Boom. Wrecked."

"Do you want a competition then, smarty pants?"

"Why not?"

"Oh, it's on!"

The bell rang, and students came in the classroom. Lenn stood, and showed his tongue at Magnus.

Magnus, with a come-here-and-I'll-bash-your-face-into-the-wall face, said, "This isn't over, Piscus."

Lenn walked back to his armchair. He simultaneously sat down, and looked at Magnus, giving him a smile in return.

He looked in front, and widened his eyes. He satisfyingly exhaled, and looked back at Magnus. Sadly, he was no longer looking at him, but rather preparing his notebooks for the upcoming subject.

Lenn realized what had happened between them. Oh no...

What was this chugging feeling in Lenn's chest?
