Chell awoke, bleary-eyed, in what looked eerily like a decrepit relaxation vault, the back-of-the-throat feel of anaesthetic causing her to gag a little. The loudspeaker crackled with static and Chell could vaguely hear mumbling beneath the layers of white noise. She tensed, staying very quiet and still. Something about this place wasn't right. It seemed too plastic, too fake. She pressed against the flimsy wall, almost ashamed. The cardboard fell down to reveal a chamber. A large monitor displayed the last android she wanted to see She watched as he fiddled with one of the massive wires connected to his back as he watched a screen off-camera. He was watching clips of their flight to Her chamber with an intense hatred. On the outside, however, he looked calm, collected and bloody dangerous. She didn't want to disturb him so she quietly manoeuvred herself outside of the camera's field of vision and behind a panel into a small space she'd nicknamed Rattman dens. She sat, silently waiting for the right time to move. A very annoyed yell gave her a cue to run. She didn't hesitate. She ran, climbed, dodged and weaved until she was far away from any form of communication or visual connection to His chamber. She slid down the wall, sighing quietly as she drifted into a dreamless sleep.
Wheatley P.O.V
Hours passed and Wheatley still couldn't find her. He was furious. How had she gotten out? Why had she even woken up? She wasn't due to wake up for another couple of days. All these thoughts whizzed around Wheatley's head as he half-listened to security footage of Chell fighting GLaDOS. He had been looking for Chell for about three hours to no avail. Just as he decided to give up, one of his monitors brought up a very faint life sign. He whipped around as the machine beeped politely. The little bugger had gotten into the walls...
