It only took Chell a couple of tests to realise she had made a mistake. With every chamber, the amount of ways to die increased dramatically. She glanced over at the monitor to her right. The 60" android was punching a wall, a look of hatred in his eyes that was very unlikely. His irises had turned blood red and he looked like he was about to scream, either in pain or anger. Chell paused and thought for a second. Was this her doing? Or someone else's. She ran to the edge of the chamber and shifted a loose panel she had noticed when she walked in. She disappeared into the darkness, the only sound being her boots as she pounded down a catwalk wildly. 'I have to find the server room' she thought as she whipped round a corner and almost fell into oblivion. She staggered back, out of breath and peered down into the void. There was a gap where the catwalk had rusted away. She looked across the 3 metre span and saw a glimpse of something dirty white in the distance. A portal surface! She placed a portal on the wall beside her and another on the panel in the distance and stepped through. From the darkness, a red light flickered towards her and a familiar voice cried out " Is anyone there?" It then began to fire a couple of rounds at nothing in particular and shut itself off. "Turrets. How do I get past them?" She thought, slightly annoyed at Wheatley's sloppiness. The facility was a mess and GLaDOS was nowhere to be found. Where was she?The floor rumbled, knocking the turret askew. Chell took a breath and sprinted, hoping not to get sprayed with bullets. She survived and kept on running until she came to a door. It was jammed open by rubble but there wasn't enough space to get through. She couldn't see any portal surfaces the other side. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong with Wheatley

Chell tensed as she heard loud, slow, deliberate footsteps closing in on her. They stopped about a metre behind her. She could hear a low chuckling but she didn't dare turn around. Instead, she stood completely still, willing him to go away. "Nice trick luv, but not enough. I'm not that much of a moron. Now turn around." Shaking slightly, she did as she was told and turned to face to android. He looked down at her, something of a smirk on his pale English lips. The cocky bastard had been following her the entire damn time! She mentally kicked herself for thinking she could escape without being noticed. She looked up at him in silent determination but the fear was visible in her eyes. The silence was deafening. Suddenly, a couple of claws reached out from nowhere and restrained her as Wheatley walked uncharacteristically silently towards her. "Now, luv. We're going to have to work on co operation." He smiled almost maniacally. That was when she knew something was really wrong. She struggled against her restraints. "Nice try, sweetheart. But you and I need to talk." He spat the last part out like it left a horrible taste. He then proceeded to slap her around the face. It left a large red mark. She looked at him in outrage. Another claw rose from the depths, almost majestically. It fastened around her neck, starving her of oxygen. She weakly punched the claw until she fell limp. The claws dragged her behind Red as he strode back to his laboratory.

She regretted waking up.
