Red sighed, nursing his aching head in his hand as he tried yet again to find those two idiots. How had they gotten away? There was only a small section of Aperture he couldn't reach and he'd made sure it was inaccessible. Right? A glance at a security camera confirmed it. That little moron was doing something. It was bad enough he kept screaming. As he flicked through the feeds, he noticed something. About 5 cameras had been put on loop. They were displayed the same 10 seconds over and over. Clever... Turning off loop revealed two figures slumped in an alcove.
He hadn't noticed the silhouette in the background, or the presence behind him. Silently, Wheatley tensed his feet and pounced, tackling Red. The impact knocked the wind out of him but still he struggled, trying to restrain the glitch. The quick scuffle resulted in Wheatley's victory, leaving Red in the corner dejectedly sulking. Wheatley turned on the speaker. "Chell, can you hear me? Run! Please, run, save yourself !" As he finished, he fell to his knees, unable to cope with the mental power needed to function and keep Red from escaping. Luckily, the last thing he saw was Chell and GLaDOS running before being greeted by the displeased features of a very powerful glitch.
Red... Wasn't very happy. He'd assumed his restraints were built in. Now, finding out he was being held back by this scrawny shit made him inexplicably mad. And, boy did he show it. After tackling Wheatley, Red did the equivalent of tying him up and throwing him in the corner. Red cracked his neck, it was time to get busy. But first, to deal with little boy blue in the corner...
