As soon as Chell woke up, she was taken back to the testing track. Exhausted, Wheatley sat back and went into sleep mode. He was greeted by a... A man? "So, you're the one? Honestly, I expected more." Wheatley was so confused. Who was this man? What is happening? What the actual hell?" Hang on... Red?" He asked, confused and quite scared, really. The man just laughed. "And the penny drops. I'll be seeing you very soon"With that, the man faded into nothing, the echoes of the man's words bounced around Wheatley's mind. He decided to check on Chell. After so long in the dark, the harsh lights blinded the blue loving giant. After a while, his multiple monitors (which he should have learned the names of but couldn't be bothered) told him that Chell was rather close to his "lair". That felt good. Every evil person needs a lair. And a cat. He'd never heard of a cat before but apparently you needed one to be evil.

Chell was furious. She was bruised, bleeding and slightly charred. She had that look on her face that suggested she was about to destroy something valuable and not regret anything. She had only just stumbled through the last few tests alive whilst he had just slept. Tired of being ignored, she shot a ball of energy from her portal gun towards the screen with the offending android plastered on it. It smashed with a satisfactory shattering and sparks. It certainly drew the AI's attention.

Wheatley looked at the damage on one of his screens, then at Chell, who had a smug look on her usually expressionless face." I hope you know you're paying for that." He stated, still disorientated from the... Not-dream. Chell flipped him the bird before stalking off to the lift in a huff. The hell's her problem? Wheatley thought, slightly taken aback. This routine continued through the next few tests until he finally snapped.

The shadow of a man saw it's chance and dove for the new prey. Wheatley shut down with a sudden jolt. The lights flickered then shut off, plunging poor Chell into darkness. She sat down and used the time to rest and recover from her motion sickness. He buzzed around Wheatley's CPU, corrupting what little conscience he had left. This left the android completely unable to move and honestly quite annoyed. He felt like a puppet, held together with string, whatever that was.
