I wake up to Paul and Chanel staring at me with huger smiles.
"Mommy, get dwessed." Chanel demands. "We going to Sam's, dada has a surprise."
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Chanel calls Paul dada and daddy. I kiss Chanel on the head before I change into something classy, I'm a classy girl for an eighteen year old.
Paul, Chanel, and I walk across the street together; Paul is carrying Chanel. Seth and Leah are over there already.
Timber is holding hands wth Embry when we finally enter the house. Sam smirks at dad before Chanel wiggles out of Paul's grip. De rubs to Claire, who is on the floor by the couch.
When I turn to Paul, I see him down on one knee. Tears escape my eye and he opens a ring box, it has a beautiful black diamond ring.
"Janelle, I fell for you when I first noticed how tough you were, a single mom of a toddler on your own. And then I looked you in your eyes, I knew you were the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I want to help raise Chanel. Janelle Miley Milton, will you marry me?" Paul asks.
I smile before nodding. "Yes. A thousand times yees!!!"
He slides the ring on my finger and I hug him. Chanel starts cheering.
"I wanna be flower girl.!" She exclaims.
"I want to have Alice Cullen plan the event." I smile.
"You haven't heard?" Sam asks sadly. "The Cullen's left recently."
I frown. "Emily, would you like to plan the event?"
She nods. "I would love to, Janelle."
"I'm gonna go check on Bella." I say.
Chanel runs out behind me and she climbs into her care seat herself. I fasten her in before getting behind the wheel. I pull away from our house, Chanel and I walked over here, and I drive towards Forks.
Charlie lets Chanel and I in the house.
"I'll hold her; Bella is in her room." Charlie says.
I hand him Chanel and I climb the stairs. I tap on Bella's door before I walk into her room.
"Bella?" I whisper before sitting on her window sill. "You need a shower."
She chuckles. "I do, don't I?"
I smirk. "Go take one. You and I can bring Chanel to the local park."
Bella nods and she goes to the shower. I smile before I go downstairs.
"She is riding with Chanel and I to the Forks park." I tell Charlie.
He sighs in relief. "I appreciate you getting her out of the house."
I smile. "It's no problem, really."
Chanel reaches for me right Bella reaches the bottom step. We go out to my car and I strap Chanel into her seat. Bella gets into the passengers seat and I get behind the wheel. I drive to the local park and Bella gets Chanel. She brings her to the swings and I take a seat on a bench, my heels will sink in the mulch.
Bella seems to be smiling and she wants me to come to first beach with her tomorrow. I'll leave Chanel with Emily while we all go. Bella seems to be at ease while she plays with Chanel. I'm glad we could get her to smiling.
"I'll pick you up in my truck tomorrow." Bella says as I pull into her house.
"Pick me up at Sam's." I say.
She nods before I drive off towards La Push. I pull into Sam's and I carry Chanel inside their home. Paul is chatting away with Jared on the couch, Sam is on the phone with Billy Black, and Emily is in the kitchen cooking. I decide to help Emily in the kitchen, I feel uncomfortable with all the guys. I go to the kitchen, where Emily is mixing together stuff for meatloaf.
"Emily, do you need any help?" I ask softly.
She smiles warmly at me. "I could always use help from you, Janelle."
I smile before I grab the meatloaf pan and I set it on the counter near her. I grab her five other meatloaf pans, knowing she is cooking for a pack of dogs, literally.
I go into the living room and see Seth playing barbies with Chanel. I smile before joint Jared on the couch. Quil walks in with Embry and Timber. Timber had just went on a date with Embry, Quil was just outside on the porch, waiting for their return for some reason.
Claire latches to Quil's leg when she notices him. Timber sees my engagement ring and she congratulates me. Chanel gets up to run around and she runs smack into Timber, accidentally. Timber begins shaking violently. I grab Chanel protectively while Sam drags his daughter outside, before she phases and hurts the children in the house.
I hold a crying Chanel. She feels terrible for running into Timber's legs. Paul has came over and e is trying to help me calm Chanel's hysterics. Timber walks in and she looks at Chanel sadly.
"Chanel, I forgive you." Timber says as she squats down. "I'm sorry for getting so mad."
Chanel wipes the tears from her eyes and she runs into Timber's arms for a hug. Paul and I sigh in relief that Timber made it through her first phase alright and that Chanel has stopped crying. Paul gets Chanel as I get Seth and Leah. We like in my car before I. Drive us back across the street. Seth is just holding Chanel in his lap.
Chanel is passed out by the time Seth is out of the car with her.
"I'll tuck her in tonight, Janelle." Seth says. "Do what you need to do for yourself."
I kiss his head. "Thanks, Seth. Thanks a bunch."
He smiles before carrying a sleeping Chanel to her room. Paul kisses my cheek before he heads towards the kitchen for a beer, most likely. I head to the bathroom for a relaxing bath. I run the hot water before locking the door. I get into the water after I am naked and the table is full enough.
After half an hour, I take a shower to rinse the dirty bath water off my body before stepping out of the tub. I dry off before I change into some pajamas.
"Seth?" I say as I knock on his door. "Would you call and ask Emily to watch Chanel tomorrow? I'm going to the beach with Bella."
"I can watch her." Seth says excitedly.
"Alright Seth." I smirk. "But call Emily if you need help."
"I will, Janelle." He assures me. "I promise."
I smile before going to Paul and my room. He opens his arm to me before I climb in bed beside my amazing fiancée. He kisses my head and holds me close. I fall asleep listening to his heartbeat.
