"Janelle, why'd you wake mare so urgently?" Grandma Milton asks.

"I found a place for Chanel and I, finally." I say excitedly.

"That's great, Jan." The old woman smiles. "Where is it at?"

"A few hours away on a small reservation; La Push." I reply.

"I'll go pack Chanel's things and wake her, cook her some breakfast, y'all can go scope the house and get it." Grandma Milton says eagerly.

I get dressed hurriedly before going into grandma's yellow walled kitchen. Chanel's feet pat on the wooden floors before o catch we in my arms.

"Hey Chanel, wanna go see our new home?" I ask.

"Yes, mommy!" She squeaks.  "I hungry."

I smirk before sitting we in her high chair. I cook her some eggs and sausage. I make me some pancakes while Chanel eats her breakfast hungrily. I sit at the table beside Chanel and I begin to eat.

I put a dress on Chanel before putting some Forrest green flats on Chanel's feet. I carry her out and put her in the car seat in my white BMW.

When she is fastened into her front facing car seat, I get into the driver's seat of my car

When she is fastened into her front facing car seat, I get into the driver's seat of my car. Grandma Milton is standing at the front door with a smile on her wrinkled face. I'll miss her wen Chanel and I get moved.

I find the house soon enough. I get Chanel from her seat and we meet the owner at the door.

"You're Janelle and Chanel?" The owner asks.

"Yes, sir." I reply.

"I'm Clyde, let's show you the house." He smiles.

I set Chanel down when we are inside and the door is closed. She takes off running through the house. Clyde shows me the two bedrooms and the kitchen. He says she house is in perfect shape, it eats with electric. It comes with an air conditioner.

"I'll take it, Clyde." I say happily as I lift Chanel up into my arms gracefully. "Thank you."

I give him $200 for the deposit, and $400 for the first two months rent. He hands me the key and says it's all ours. I notice neighbors across the street as I step outside with Chanel. The woman waves her greetings towards us as I lock the house up.

"Are you the new neighbor?" She asks, crossing the street.

"Yes, we are." I say, kissing Chanel on she cheek. "This is my daughter, Chanel."

"I'm Anne; hi Chanel, you are adorable." The lady smiles. "Do you need help moving?"

I nod. "Yes."
