I get dressed before waking a well sleeping Bella.
"Bella, wake up." I shake her lightly.
"Janelle?" She mumbles.
"Yes." I smile to myself. "Get up. We have a busy day. I'm going to go hunt, then I'll meet you out back."
I kiss her hair before walking out. I flash into the trees with Emmett and I catch a bear before him. He smirks before taking down a bear of his own. I smirk before we walk out of the woods. Alice is watching us with amusement in her eyes.
"Bella! Head up!" I squeal as I see her almost trip and I flash forward to catch her.
She scowls. "I'd so rather be in my sneakers."
"Well, too bad, tomboy." I scold. "You're gonna look like a woman tomorrow evening."
Alice laughs at what I said as I notice the guys messing something up.
"Boys, don't you know how to follow directions!" I yell before I storm over to them.
I read Bella's mind as she takes the heels off and slips her sneakers on. I sigh as I show the guys how the decorations and the logs go on the isle. They aren't listening to me.
"Alice!" I yell angrily. "Show them how it's done. They won't listen to me."
I walk to the creek and see my mate; Paul Lahote. I smile and I wave. I sigh in aggravation that the vampire boys don't know how to listen.
I flash back and see Alice working with Bella again. I think Bella is starting to get the hang of walking in heels. I smile and I notice Jasper sitting.
"Looks good, boys." I compliment. "Although, you could have listened to me."
"Sorry, ma'am." Jasper salutes me.
"Don't go all major on me, Jasper." I scold.
He laughs before I strut inside. I see Alice making Bella try her dress on. I smile at her and I say she looks beautiful; which is the truth. I walk up to the kitchen where Carlisle is. He greets me and he notices something.
"You're eyes are fading into bronze, which is a good thing." Carlisle smiles. "You'll have our eye color soon. Just keep hunting animals and you'll be able to go out into public again."
I smile. "Sounds great, papa."
Carlisle chuckles at my joking ways. Emmett walks in and he pops his knuckles before taking a seat next to me.
Paul is still my mate, despite him being a shape shifting dog. I still love him. I just be near him until something happens to break the treaty. I hope that doesn't happen; but things like that usually happen eventually, don't they?
I walk back outside and I help put flowers on the inner edge of the isle, beside each log. Esme and Alice are setting chairs up. I smile before I fly up and sit in a tree. Bella's long thought fills my head.
I really like Janelle.... I'm jealous because she is so beautiful and strong. She is a vampire now too, that I envy. But, I will be changed. I will have sex with Edward on our honeymoon. I know it's impossible to get pregnant by an immortal vampire; but sometimes the impossible happens. I know I won't survive being pregnant with a vampire hybrid, then I'll be changed then I'll be happy.
I growl and I fly out of the tree. I storm up to my room where Bella stands. She jumps, obviously startled by my barging in.
"Want to tell me what the hell is going on in those thoughts I just heard?" I growl.
Bella flinches. "I keep forgetting you're a shield and you can read my mind."
I shrug. "Yeah, I can read your thoughts, Isabella. Don't think that around me again!"
I storm out of the room and the house, slamming the door behind me. I stop at the creek; where my amazing mate stand.
"I miss you, Paul." I whisper to his wolf. "I miss all of you."
He huffs before howling. I'm guessing he misses me too. I'm not quite sure about the others, I jut know Paul does, and I'm okay with that. I make it back to the yard and Alice tells Bella to go home, and to get some beauty sleep.
Alice and I go upstairs and go into our rooms. We are finding our dresses for the big day tomorrow. Alice says the wolves will be here because Jacob tries something. I get to see Paul up close again.
I pick out the perfect dress before I look in the mirror. My eyes are bronze now. Rosalie is proud enough to take me hunting with her. We flash off the balcony and into the trees. I catch to mountain lions, finding them by reading their thoughts.
Stupid hunters. I'm in a tree.
That's a bear. I look above my head and see a small black bear. I fly up and I drain him. I throw the rest to Rosalie before flying down. She high fives me before we walk back to the house.
Carlisle is bragging to Eleazer and Carmen about how fast my eyes turned and how good I have been. Carmen smiles at me when I stand by Carlisle. Kate and Tanya join us. The four are staying with us for the wedding tomorrow.
I go with Rosalie up to my room. We sit on my bed and we gossip about the others in the Cullen coven, scattered all around. She tells me about the ones who will arrive tomorrow. Benjamin and his family from Denali are coming to the wedding.
Bella told me last night her mother is traveling from Jacksonville, Florida for the wedding tomorrow. Charlie is coming with Billy, Jacob, and Sue Clearwater.
I grab the seating charts and I study them all night, while Rosalie finds her dress.
