Alice had a vision yesterday that Bella wakes up today. That's why we are all dressed and in the den. Alice has just gotten Bella ready. Rosalie and I stand near the bed, closest to Bella that the others. Jacob has Renesme in the living room with Emmett, Jasper, and Carlisle.
I read the pain in Bella's dead mind. She is going through the change right now. I smile and I report it to the ones in the room, knowing the ones in the living room hear me as well because of their immortal ears.
"She's about to wake." I say right before her velvety red eyes snap open. "There she is."
Edward holds his out towards her. Bella slowly takes his hand and he helps her stand. She looks around the room and she sees me, all dressed in red, with a black skirt.
"Badass." She smirks.
"Let's get you hunting." Edward says. "Janelle, go get Renesme so Bella can meet her when we return."
I go to the living room where Jacob has the baby. "Let me have her, dog."
He glares at me before holding her closer. "No, leech."
I growl and Jasper grabs Renesme before I sling Jacob off the balcony. I grab the baby and I smile down at her.
"That's how you handle a boy who can't listen." I tell her, earning a giggle.
Jacob walks back in and dusts his butt off. "You're strong."
"I'm stronger than Emmett, and faster than Edward." I say. "I am a shield; I can read Bella's mind, and I can read the minds of animals. I can see Bella, even when she was around you mutts."
"You're different than the others." He says.
I shrug. "I'm a Whitlock still; that is until I marry Paul."
Alice skips down. "Speaking of, I would like you to invite Paul over, so we can begin wedding plans."
While holding the baby, I dial Paul's number. I glare at Jacob sternly as he nears, he immediately backs away.
"And you're more intimidating than Sam." He mutters.
I smirk before Paul answers the phone.
"Hey, Jan." He says and I hear Anne saying hi to me in the background.
"Alice wants you over tomorrow, so she can start planning our wedding." I say.
"You still wanna marry me, a dog? While you're a bloodsucker?" He questions, shocked obviously.
"Of course." I smile. "The treaty broke when Bella woke up as a vampire."
I can feel his smirk.
"What time should I be there?" He asks.
Alice snatches my phone and tells him the plans, and the time he should be here. I carry Nessie to the kitchen and I get her a bottle of human blood, because she isn't old enough for animals. I feed it to her before going to the living room.
The crown around me moved when Bella return.
"Bella, this is your daughter, Renesme Carlie Cullen." I introduce her to Bella.
I hand Renesme to Bella. Jacob tries getting her, I send him a stern glare and he backs off.
"Janelle," Carlisle speaks. "Esme and I plan on leaving next yet; would you like to take the coven over? You are so powerful, much more that us, and more than wolf alpha, Sam."
"I would love to, but what about my future husband?" I question as Bella hands me the baby back.
"He can't live in Forks." Carlisle says. "You can't be in La Push. The elders in the wolf pack just re-enforced the treaty."
"What about the.." my cell rings, interrupting what I was saying.
"Hello?" I grumble into the phone.
"Janelle, its Paul." Paul says. "I have to call off the wedding. The teeth has been re-enforced."
I close my eyes. "I know. I am becoming coven leader when Carlisle and Esme leave in a couple years."
We agree and I hang up. We are still good friends though.
