HECK TO THE YES!!!!! This ship is so cute! Lillie is even more adorable in the games. Sun and Moon are not about you, the player. It's about Lillie's journey, her struggles, trying to get Nebby in the freaking bag. I hope they bring Nebby into the anime. I would watch it for sure!
The name ShiningSun comes from the Male player's default name, Sun, and, honestly, I don't know where the shining comes in. If someone could tell me, that would be most appreciated.
This ship just makes sense. Lillie follows Sun around all the time, Sun goes out of his way to protect her (with that creepy smile of his), and they are just adorable together.
Also, another thing. Some of her lines change based on which gender you pick. If you are female, Lillie says, "I am going to become a trainer and be like you." If you are a male, she says, "I am going to become a trainer and travel with you." It's kind of obvious that she likes him.
I can't even think of any downsides. Oh wait, I found one: Nebby is not in the bag. To sum up, I really like this ship.
Final Verdict: 10 out of 10. A beautiful ship. Nebby needs to get in the bag.
