I cleared my throat, and nodded. "Um, yes..I could eat." The nymph smiled, and she helped me up, I got fully dressed before letting her lead me into the next room. I hadn't seen much of The Underworld before last night.

The whole place, was like a giant stone dungeon. It wasn't bad, but I have a feeling that I hadn't seen the worst of it.

I didn't see Hades, the nymph, just lead me to a table, where the other nymph was.

Both of them were beautiful. But, in an innocent way. The way their eyes sparkled, and the adorable smiles they both wore.

The male nymph handed me my food. I smiled at the both of them. "Would you guys like to sit with me? I could use the company." I smiled. The two of them looked at each other, before nodding and sitting at the table with me.

"So, what are your names?"

"I'm Ambrosia, and this is Ambrose." The girl smiled. I studied their faces.

Ambrosia, had soft sepia skin, and big brown eyes. She had a braided bun, Ambrose on the other hand, had pale skin, raven black hair, and the brightest blue eyes I'd ever seen. His face was a bit dirty, and he had some scruff. The two of them looked nothing alike. But yet, were so similar.

"Those names are...very similar." I chuckled. Ambrose nodded. "Yes, they are. We were raised around each other. We share no relation. But, we may as well be siblings." He explained, bringing a smile to my face.

"Ugh. Nymphs are so annoying."

I heard a voice say. But, it wasn't coming from anyone in the room. The voice was coming from my head. It was Poseidon. I hadn't realized how much of a hold he had on my mind. I shook it off not wanting to listen.

"Uh, where's Hades?" I questioned.

Ambrosia smiled softly. "He's busy. Underworld stuff. He should be back shortly though. I can see you care about him. It's quite beautiful, actually. The depth, and emotion, that a romance between a mortal and a god could have. The allure of a love story itself is enough for me." She explained, wearing a soft smile.

"You, seem to be very interested in love, I would've confused you, for being Aphrodite's nymph, instead of Athena's." I laughed.

"Well, it's just that..love is a strange thing right? You have all these expectations for it. But, it never turns out quite like you want it to. Things change, like you probably never expected to fall for a god, but even when things aren't like you originally wanted or planned, It doesn't matter. Because now that you have that, you wouldn't have it any other way." She replied.

She spoke as though, she'd been in love before. I don't know if I'd call what I felt for Hades 'love', at least not yet. It seemed too soon to tell. But Ambrosia loved someone. That I knew.

"Are you in love with anyone Ambrosia?"

"Most likely someone she can't have darling."

Poseidon's voice stated, still in my head. Ambrosia cleared her throat, but said nothing. Ambrose smiled. "She..is in love with Athena." He explained. Ambrosia gave him a dirty look. But, I just smiled. Ignoring Poseidon's comments, about him being right. Because, I didn't think he was.

"You must miss her.."

Ambrosia's face softened, when she realized, I wasn't gonna show any judgement. She cleared her throat. "I really do." She smiled.

"You'll see her soon. She said she'd come and visit." I replied.

"She lied."

Poseidon said, starting to annoy me. I faked a smile. "I'll..be back in a moment." I told the two nymphs. I went back into Hades room, where it was quiet.

"Get out of my head, and leave me alone." I stated, as I ran my hands through my hair.

"What's wrong Love? Done feeling sorry for me already?" He asked, except, he wasn't in my head anymore. He was sitting in front of me, on Hades bed, propping himself up on his hands. I furrowed my brows.

"Why are you here?" I asked, he stood, and swung his arms as he walked towards me.

"Oh, I'm not. I'm just so far into your head, that I can make you see me whenever I want. It's an amazing thing, truly. Don't you think so?"

I pushed him back. "No, I don't think so! Stop messing with my head! I'm not gonna be some way for you to prove to Zeus that you're strong. Grow up, and start doing things for yourself Poseidon." I spat out.

He cocked his head, and cleared his throat.

"Damara, I'm not here to be lectured into changing. That's not gonna happen. Power doesn't come from mercy and kindness. Power comes from lies, wisdom, and fear." He started, before smirking widely, and putting his hand on my shoulder, rubbing up and down my arm.

"Would you like to know just how powerful your little boyfriend is?"
