*Juliette's POV*
"She has to be breathing."
"She's not."
I stopped listening to what Drew was saying. I just kept trying to get Alexa to wake up. I knew that Drew wasn't lying when he said she wasn't breathing. But I still tried.
"Alexa?"
It was hopeless. I knew it wouldn't work. Nothing would.
*Drew's POV*
"Juliette, I'll try to help. I can't promise anything but-"
"No. It's fine."
"No it's not. And I won't let this happen. None of us will."
"How do you know that she's not already dead?"
"We should tell you something."
"Which is what exactly?"
"Well...."
"Blake, tell me."
"TC, Gabby and I are vampires. Drew, Nayk, Taylor, Kasin and Janelle are werewolves."
"I'm supposed to believe that?"
"We were hoping you would."
"We can help Alexa. But we need to know that you'll be OK with it."
"First, prove to me that you are what you say you are. Then tell me how you plan to help her."
*Juliette's pov*
1 by 1, I watched them change into the things I thought only existed in books and movies.
Blake & Tc came up to me.
"We'll have to change her in order to save her."
"No."
"Julie-"
"This could change her entire life. It will change her entire life. No."
"But she'll be alive."
"That's what you call this? This isn't living. She'll be 16 forever if I let you change her. No."
I walk away without giving the 2 boys time to say anything else.
