Chapter 10

*Juliette's POV*

Kasin and I went inside the house.

"You're back."

"Yeah. Were you worried?"

"A little."

"Subtle, Tc."

"Shut up, Jayk."

"As much as I'd love to hear this conversation is going, there's something you guys should know."

"What is it?"

"Where's Drew?"

"Exactly what I wanted to tell you."
I knew I was doing the right thing by telling them. But what if something happened to Drew?

"I'm not exactly sure where he is. But there was this group of 3 guys. They were chasing me. But then I ran into Drew and he told me to come here. But I stayed just a little longer. I was hidden. They couldn't see me. They were threatening him with Janelle. I don't know what happened after that. I left."

"Tc, stay here. Make sure the girls stay here as well."

"Julie, do you know their names?"

"No. Well yeah. 2. Nate and Kellin."

"That's good enough. Come on, Blake. Let's go find Drew."

Blake and Jayk left to go look for Drew and Kasin ran upstairs.

I looked at Tc.

"Where's my sister?"

"I'll show you. But nothing has changed."

"But she's still alive?"

"For now."

Tc stops in front of a door.

"Why'd you stop? I want to see her."

"Juliette, please listen. Blake or I have to change her or she'll die."

"I don't know......Are you 100% sure it'll save her?"

"No."

"So it could also finish killing her?"

"It's never happened before. But yes."

"I can't lose my sister. She's the only family I have."

"At least let me try."

"You can't promise me that changing her will save her."

"No. But I can at least try."

"Just let me see my sister."

"Right."

Tc moves so I can open the door. I go in the room and go straight to my sister.

"She'll only get worse. Please let me change her."

"On one condition."

Tc looked worried,  probably because he was thinking of the possibilities of what I might say next.

"You'll change me too."
