Chapter 7

*TC's pov*

I watched as Drew talked to her. I knew he had a girlfriend and I should be jealous. But I still was a little jealous. I mean, what if she fell for him anyway?

"Hey, TC."

"Gabby....! Hey."

"What are you worried about?"

"Nothing."

"You're scared she's falling for him."

"A little."

"She's not."

"How do you know?"

"I can read the minds of whoever I want."

"Right. I forgot."

"Yeah. You forget a lot of things."

"Sorry, Gabby. I'm distracted."

"Would this distraction be a pretty brunette girl named Juliette?"

"Maybe."

"Talk to her, TC."

"But-"

"No. Go talk to her."

Gabriella walked away before I could say anything else. I looked back at Juliette.

I didn't know why I couldn't talk to her. She was just a girl. So why did she have such an affect on me?

"Because you like her."

"Jayk, where did you come from?"

"Gabby and Taylor wanted me to make sure you talk to her."

"Ok. But how did you know-"

"You weren't thinking. You were speaking."

"Oh."

"Look. You like her. It's seriously way too obvious. Just talk to her."

"It's not that easy."

"She's just a girl. Besides if you don't talk to her, Gabriella will. And she'll tell Juliette all about your crush. So you might as well just talk to her yourself."

"Yeah. But she's different."

"How so?"

"She has power. She just doesn't know it."

"All you have to do is change her."

"No, Jayk. I can't do that."

"You can if she's yours."

"But she isn't."

"Yet."

"You're hilarious, Jayk. She'll never-"

"Alexa...?!"

Drew's sister Kasin was sitting on the ground near Alexa and she was comoletely freaking out. Drew ran over to her to see what was wrong. Juliette gets to the two younger girls before anyone else.

"Let's go."

"Not a good idea."

"It gives you a chance to talk to her. Come on."

"Drew, what's wrong with her?"

"I don't know. Kasin, what happened?"

"I don't know. We were just talking. But she was said she was getting dizzy. So we were heading inside but then she just......"

Juliette pulled Kasin into a hug, which seemed to calm Kasin down.

"I didn't mean for anything to happen to Alexa. I was just trying to help."

"I know. But Alexa's strong. She'll be ok."

"Actually I don't think she will."

"What are you talking about, Drew?"

"Your sister isn't breathing."
