**Harry's POV**
"EMI!!!!"

No no no no no! She's stuck in there! She's stuck in there with that beast and it's all my fault! We'd heard Filtch following us, so we ran to a random floor and hid, but Emi pressed against a door and must've fallen in? I don't exactly know what happened but there was an enchantment on it I assume because now she's trapped in there and can't get out! I couldn't tell if she was alright or not because she wasn't talking! All I could hear was heavy breathing and low growls!

"Harry! Where's Emilia?" Ron ran up to me, Hermione, Fred, George, and Neville closely following.

"Emi, she's stuck in that room with some sort of three headed dog!" I panted.

"Emilia! Can you hear us?" Hermione banged on the door, yelling. No response.

God, what was happening!

**Emi's POV**
A strong beast. Brown, matted fur, and yellow, grimy teeth.

Me. Small, weak arms, and a useless, unusable wand.

I didn't know any spells for this. I didn't know any spells at all.

It's growl gradually got louder, heads getting closer to me as I backed up into the wall. I was too frightened to speak.

Without thinking, I slowly raised my hand, putting it out as if I wanted the great beast to sniff it. It's center head did, then sat, laying its head(s) down. I slowly walked closer to the beast, not as afraid as before; like something was taking over my body and emotions. Something telling me what to do, what not to do- telling me not to be afraid.

I began to hum a tune that came to mind, the hums slowly turning into a whistling song that nearly sounded like that of a lark.

The beast laid down as I walked to it, seeming now tame; asleep almost.

Breaking me out of my trance, the door crashed open as if blown up. Harry tackled me in a hug, quickly dragging me out of the room, Ron closing the door behind him.

"Emi are you alright? Are you hurt?" Harry panted as if he'd ran a marathon. I merely smiled and shook my head, putting my hand on my heart which was our way of saying "I'm okay" when I didn't want to speak. He nodded and put his hand on his heart in response.

"Emilia, are you alright?" Hermione asked, turning me around. "We heard you scream, what happened?" I knitted my eyebrows. "Your scream. We heard it from across the castle!" I rolled my eyes and pointed at Harry. Hermione giggled. "That scream was you?" Harry just blushed and adjusted his glasses. "Well, we should head back to the dorm before anything else happens. We'll just wait for the Fat Lady there. We should've never left in the first place." Hermione and I linked arms and started walking off. I needed to talk to a girl. Plus, I knew I could trust her. Harry I could trust too, but I don't think he'd understand what I wanted to talk about.

As we walked, the boys just stayed behind for a minute before following us.

"Hermione?"

"Mhm?"

"Can I talk to you about something?"

"Of course. What is it?"

**Fred's POV**
What happened! What was that three headed dog thing! Why did Emi's eyes look glowing and violet! Why was she trapped with it! Why wouldn't the door open! We had to use an explosive spell just to get the bloody door open! I'm just glad the spell worked. I'm not particularly great with explosive spells on a good day, never mind while panicking because your little firecracker was stuck in a room with a killer beast and you knew she didn't know any spells to help herself.

"Harry, what was that? Is Emilia alright?" Ron asked, concerned.

"She's fine. I hope..."

"What do you mean 'you hope'?" I asked. Harry just glared at me then turned back to Ron.

"We better get going. I want to make sure she doesn't wander back here."

"Why the bloody hell would anyone want to come back here to that, that thing!" Ron was flustered.

"She's Emi. She craves mystery. Anything that could lead to an adventure," Harry shrugged.

"Oi' mate, we should get going then. Wanna make sure the girls don't get lost," George said, trying to break the tension. I just nodded.

No wonder my little firecracker craved mystery when she's the biggest one out there.
