**Harry's POV**
"Staying at school for the holiday, Potters?" I looked over my shoulder and saw Draco walking past us to the main entrance to get to the train to leave for the holiday.

"Shove off, Malfoy," Ron sneered. We were all sitting by the fireplace in the Great Hall. And by all I mean Ron, Emilia, and me.

Malfoy snickered as he walked away, pushing past Hermione.

"Aren't you going home for the holiday?" Hermione asked Ron.

"Change of plans. The Weasley clan is staying at Hogwarts for Christmas. Mum and Dad have decided to go to Romania, to visit our brother Charlie." Ron put on a brave face, but he didn't even have to tell me and I knew why he was really here. He was here for Emilia and me.

"Well, have you found anything on Nicholas Flamel?" Hermione asked, probably knowing that we didn't.

"I'm sorry, who?" Emi chimed in. She was playing with her locket, anxiety clear on her face. She still doesn't remember much, and it's taking a toll on her.

"Nicholas Flamel. We talked about him at Hagrid's while you were shoving your face in Fang's fur," I laughed, trying to make the situation lighter.

"Okay... what's he got to do with anything?"

"He's got to do with what was under the trapped door that the three headed dog, Fluffy, was guarding."

"His names Fluffy?" Emilia was visibly confused.

"You missed a lot while you were remembering things at Hagrid's," Hermione laughed. "It's alright. We'll catch you up. Don't worry," Hermione reassured.

"I don't get it!" Ron exclaimed. "We've looked through every book in the library, and nothing!" Hermione looked around then whispered to us.

"You haven't looked in the restricted section."

Ron, Emilia, and I all looked at each other. The restricted section...

**Emilia's POV**
Later that night, Harry and I took the invisibility cloak and draped it over ourselves, planning on going to the library.

Once we got there, Harry reached out his hand as I held the hot lantern by the handle. He slowly unlocked the gate to the restricted section. We walked in, and all the spines of the books shined with their golden lettering as we took the cloak off. One book in particular caught my eye- it said "The Need-To-Knows about Metamorphuses." I'd forgotten all about what Excogitatoris had said until now. Without thinking, I took the chained book off the shelf and opened it. Big mistake.

The pages of the book started screaming, so I forced the book shut and and crammed it back between the shelves. When I looked over at Harry, it seemed like he had just done the same with another book.

"I know you're in there..." a scratchy voice sounded from the entrance of the library. Harry and I looked at each other with pure fear in our eyes. We quickly put the cloak back over us, making the lamp I'd put down onto a table fall and smash. "You can't hide..."

We quickly scuttled out of the restricted section and to the entrance of the library, weaving through the bookshelves so we didn't run into Filch.

We ran down the hallways, eventually coming into a room that was pretty much empty, besides a few desks pushed to the corner of the room, and a large mirror.

Harry stood at the door, putting his ear to it to see if we were being followed.

Meanwhile, I came out from under the cloak and walked towards the old, dusty mirror. Something was carved into the frame but I couldn't make out what it said.

Harry soon joined me, standing in front of the mirror. In it I saw nothing but myself, until Harry gasped.

"What? What is it?" I questioned. He pulled me slightly right by my arm and I saw it. I looked behind me to make sure I wasn't hallucinating, but nothing was there. Then how am I seeing what seemed to be our mum and dad? A woman who looked exactly like me, only maybe ten years older, and a man that looked just like Harry except he had brown eyes and no scar, also only ten years older at most.

"Emilia... do you see it too?" Harry spoke, as if afraid of the answer he might receive. All I could do was nod my head in response.

"Mum?" I whimpered. The lady nodded.

"Dad?" Harry said, a bit more in touch with his voice. The man nodded.

So this is what they looked like? Exactly like us? Why were they so young? Probably because they had us young and died still in their youth.

I couldn't say anything more. All I could do was watch.

The next few nights, Harry and I went back to the mirror, disregarding all the risks and going with reckless abandon- anything to see our parents.

"Do you think it's anything like your locket?" Harry asked me at dinner. Neither of us could eat- too much anticipation for seeing mum and dad again.

"I don't know," I said quietly, anxiety that people were listening to us creeping into my thoughts.

Harry looked at me, and I knew what he was thinking; I nodded in agreement.

That night, we'd decided to bring Ron with us to the mirror.

"I don't know guys, won't we get caught?"

"We won't if you'd be quiet while we walk the empty corridors, Ron." I giggled slightly at Harry's sarcastic comment. I think the lack of sleep from the past few nights were getting to us.

Once we'd gotten in front of the mirror, we took the cloak off and let Ron take a look.

"Woah!" My heart stopped. Could he see them too?

"What is it Ron, what do you see?" Harry quickly ushered him to answer.

"I see... me... but, I'm older. I'm head boy!"

I'd completely toned out everything that was said after that. This doesn't make sense- how could Harry and I see the same thing, while Ron sees something completely different? And why our parents? Why "head boy"? Is this a joke mirror? Is it taunting us of the things we want?

**Fred's POV**
At lunch, Ron told me all about his little adventure with the mysterious mirror. I'd decided to take it upon myself to go with the twins 2.0 tonight to make sure they don't get in trouble. Because, let's be real, who am I to deny a little mischief?

That night, I'd talked to Harry and he agreed to let me go with him and Emilia. Emilia had no idea, however, which was made clear when she looked at me with pure confusion when I came down with Harry.

She pointed at me, turning to Harry, looking as if she were about to say something. Must've been the twin telepathy because Harry answered right away.

"He's coming with us. He asked earlier, I just forgot to tell you," Harry explained. Emilia's anxiety lessened slightly, but it was still very visibly there.

On our way there, Emilia looked just as tense as she did when we left. She kept looking at me out of the corner of her eye, and when I'd look back at her she quickly looked away as if I'd hurt her for looking at me. I'd never hurt Emilia. Even though technically I did... but that wasn't on purpose! I wonder if she remembered that yet...

Once we got to the mirror, we took of the cloak and I was genuinely surprised to see nothing but a regular reflection in the mirror. Then Emilia took my hand in hers and directed me to a position in front of the mirror. It was crazy... my entire family was there, along with Harry and Emilia. We were all smiling, wearing the Christmas sweaters mum always made us. Even Harry and Emilia were wearing them! That's when I looked at the mirror and noticed in the reflection I was holding Emilia's hand. I looked down and saw she was still holding my hand, smiling at the mirror. Did she see the same thing I was seeing?
