*One Week Later*
"Look, I know it sounds crazy but it's true! I'm not sick anymore," I pleaded with Debby to give me psychiatric clearance. "Though you do have evidence to support your claim, there's no such thing as ghosts. If you really believe you aren't sick, keep seeing me for a week or two and let me clear you the correct way." I groaned, but I didn't push the matter anymore.
I made my way to the dim waiting room where I expected to find my mom, but she was no where in sight. "Martha, do you know where my mom went," I asked the polite elderly receptionist. "Oh, she stepped out for a second, she said to just wait hear for her." I sighed and dropped down onto the leather sofa, and absently scrolled Instagram. I looked up as a boy who couldn't be much older than me walked in. He had a strong jawline, short curly dirty blond hair, and a leather jacket slung over one of his broad shoulders. "I'm here to see Dr. Deborah," he said as he leaned over Martha's desk. "She'll be with you shortly." He turned and smirked when his eyes landed on me.
"I'm Tate." He extended his hand, and I took his callous palm. "I'm Gwyneth," I replied with a polite smile. "Well, Gwyneth, what are you doing here?" I automatically tried to come up with a lie that made me seem cool, but there was nothing cool about being in a shrink's office. "I'm schizo," I replied truthfully. "That's rough. I knew a schizo guy once, he totally went insane and offed himself, though." I stared at him, waiting for him to laugh at the twisted joke, but his laugh never came. Just then, my mom came in, saving me from embarrassing myself in front of the mysterious loner boy. "You ready," she asked as she looked at Tate with wary eyes. "Yeah," I said as left my seat and walked towards the door. "See you around, Gwyneth," he said with another breath taking smirk.
"Who was that boy," my mom asked once were in the car. "Tate," I said dreamily. "Well, I don't like him." I rolled my eyes. "You don't even know him, mom," I replied. "He's wearing all black and seeing a psychiatrist, what more is the to know? He's trouble."

So yeah disregard about less than 5 chaps left. I added Tate(portrayed by Daniel Sharman) to make things a little more interesting. I wonder how this will turn out! Sorry it's so short, I just really wanted to introduce Tate.
