Chapter 7//Leo's Jam Part 3

Chase's POV:
I walked into the the gym, using my bionic hearing to hear what Danielle was talking about with her friend. Yep, gossiping I thought. I walked over to the table her and her friend were sitting at. "Hi, uh Danielle sorry to interrupt your gossip session......that you may, or may not have been having." She looked at her friend then back at me. I gave a fake, I'm-not-doing-anything smile. "So do you remember that really heroic guy that lifted a hole row of lockers?" I said when she looked at me confused, "You mean the tall, good looking guy?" I pulled out a chair and sat in it. "No, actually the smaller more interesting looking guy....." I said when at the last words she pointed at me with an understanding smile, "Oh, my sturdy little footstool!" She gave a small giggle. Bree would do that when I tell jokes, but she would never giggle around other people. I raised my eyebrows and said while pointing, "Bingo. Anyways, I know you like my brother Adam, but that's creating a problem in his friendship with Leo; so I was wondering if maybe would like to go to the dance with Leo instead." I wish Bree would go with me to the dance instead too. WHAT AM I SAYING? I eyes bugged out, the came back in just in time for me to hear Danielle say sweetly, "Aw, that's so nice, your worried about your friend. You know what, I know how to fix this whole thing..." I straightened my posture and said in reply, "See, I knew that if I just talked to you with whole thing would work out!" The only thing that isn't working out is that Bree is going with some random guy that I don't know! There I go again. But maybe thinking about Bree isn't bad, maybe she thinks it's sweet. I got snapped out of my thoughts when Danielle smiled and said, "Sure did! I'm gonna go to the dance with you!" My smile drained to another fake smile. Now none of this is working out! I can't go with Bree and Bree can't go with me. I'm frowning on the inside I screamed at myself in thought. She got up, grabbed her backpack and said while walking away, "See you there, cutie....." Oh NO! The only cutie I want to be is Bree's. What am I talking about? again?!
I went home and sat on the couch. "Ugh, rough day..." Bree sat down next to me, "Why? What happend?" I turned to her and said, "Well I got asked to the dance." she frowned a little.
//Bree's POV:
What?! Someone asked him?! I'm very surprised and sad at the same time... So we can't even dance together once? UGH. I straitened my posture and said, "Why is it bad that someone asked you to the dance?" He frowned and looked up at the ceiling, then back at me. "Well, the girl that asked me, Leo and Adam want to dance with." I nodded and sat back on the couch. "Huh, so their gonna kill you now?" He raised his eyebrows then nodded, "Probably. Anyway, do you want me to help you with your homework now?" I smiled and nodded. I super sped down to the lab to grab my paper, then I hurried and came back up. He smiled then said, "Ok number one....."
//Chase's POV:
When Bree and I were done with her homework she thanked me and said she'd be going down to the lab. *Creak* Uh OH! Adam and Leo are here, ok time to tell them what Danielle said. I hurried got up from the couch and walked over to them. "HI! Guys so, here's what's up. Danielle's not going to the dance with either of you." Both of their mouths dropped to a frown. "WWhy? Who's she going with?!" Adam asked in an angered tone. I gave a fake sympathy smile for a second. Then I smiled and pointed to myself, "Me!" They both stared at me, speechless. Leo jumped and grabbed me.He shook me as hard as he could but I just stayed in the same place. Adam stood there, dumbfounded, like he always is. Guy doesn't have a better IQ than a squirrel!
    "How could you swipe Danielle away from both of us?!" Adam yelled at me hole I walked over one couch and laid back against it. "Look I didn't mean for this to happen." I frowned. I wish what would have happened is Bree saying no to Ethan, asking me, wearing cyber masks, going to the dance, then changing our identities, getting married, and live happily ever after! Wait, what just came out of my mind? Yeah that was weird.... "Oh so your not taking her to the dance?" Leo asked and sat next to me. I looked at him and said, "Of corse I'm taking her to the dance, she's like a little, adorable lamb that frolics-". I was cut off by Adam and Leo both yelling, "WE GET IT!" I was kinda lying about what I said then, I mean, I was going to take her to the dance, but I as talking about Bree who's a cottony, hire, lamb that can gracefully frolic...."I may not know how to dance, but a girl is interested in me for the first time; how could I say no?" Adam turned to me and yelled, "Oh you say no! N-O-O!" I glared at him. Leo put his hand on my arm and said, Second time a girl has been interested in you." He whispered it so only he and I could hear. He mouthed the word Bree and I froze up. "Oh, what ever happened to: Leo had her first? You say one thing then do the exact same thing, your a total hypnotist!" I raised my eyebrows. See, squirrel. "Adam I think it's Hypocrite." Leo told him when he took his hand away from me and wiped it on his shirt. I scowled at him. Leo walked over to Adam and said, "Let's give him a break. This is his first go round on the carousel of love...." In his sarcastic tone he put emphasis on the first. Yeah he knows I kinda have a small thing for Bree. But do I truly love her? I'll find out tonight, I'm gonna ask her to dance with me, but not at the school. Leo is totally gonna play a trick on me, his sarcasm never lies. "Seriously? Are you kidding me?! He's on a carousel all right and he's riding a big, plastic horse named Betrayal!" Adam pouted. I rolled my eyes at his tantrum. Leo walks back over to me and says, "Face it Adam, the best guy won." I glare at his fake words, posting theme out of my sight. Adams face grew red, "Ohhh NO! I'm the best guy and I'm going to get her back it, is, ON! O-N-N, ON!" He walks out of the room with another tantrum. Actually, if he did that I wouldn't mind that much. More Bree for me! Just kidding, I still have that Ethan guy to worry about. Leo turned to walk away, but then stooped in his tracks. He put his index finder up, "Did you say you didn't know how to dance?" I nodded and opened up my laptop, "Yeah, but I'm probably just going to download a dance app or something." He turned and continued walking, "Oh, okay..." He stopped again, "But is the refrigerator dance on the internet yet? It's just so new...." I closed my laptop, "The what dance?" He turned around to me and pointed, "You don't know about the refrigerator dance? Everybody's doing it!" I jumped up from the couch and ran to Leo, "Please, teach me it!" My eyes ere hopeful. Maybe this dance might impress Bree.... what am I talking about? There I go again...He looked at me and said, "Well, I kinda don't have time to-ok here's how it goes." I smiled and he said, "Ok, I call out an action and you mime it." I nodded and he gave a beat. "Psch-chets...Open the fridge!" He made a motions with his arms and I did the same, "Open the fridge!" He made another motion like drinking from a bottle, "Get, the milk!" I mimed again, "Get the milk." He put his hand to his head pretending to look out into the distance, "Search for left overs!" As he said the actions, I continued his beat, then I copied, "Toss your leftovers......with e a little booty shake." We both shook our booties as we pretended to thro something behind our shoulders. Leo stopped, "And you said you didn't know how to dance."
