The next morning, Chris got up to go practice his powers. He ran up to the control station in the training room,
"Turn on target practice."

As soon as he finished that, a buzzer sounded, and a target flew up. Chris saw it and blasted it with a fireball. Another shot up behind him and he shot around to hit it with a chunk of solid rock. Two more targets shot up to the sides of him, and he conjured a mini tornado in one hand and a ball of water in another. He threw both of them at the targets. The tornado ripped it to shreds, while the water took in a current, with enough force to sling it off its hinges into the wall. Another buzzer sounded indicating the practice was over. He then put in another course.

When the buzzer sounded, a robot about the size of a man hopped out of a hole in the wall. It was silver and it had no face. It came at him running, but Chris used its momentum, picked it up, and threw it towards the wall making a loud clang.

The robot got up and came back at him, pulling a hammer out of its back. Chris saw this, but not in time, and the robot slammed him into a wall. Chris grunted, and got back up again getting ready for the robot and its hammer to come swinging at him, but he didn't see it. He looked around, but it was nowhere to be found.

He heard a clang above him. When he turned to look, he saw the robot hanging from one of the rafters. It jumped at him, but he jumped to the side. When the robot hit the ground, he turned himself and used all of his weight to slam his feet into its head. He heard a crunch as the robot suddenly went still and the buzzer sounded.

He got up and went over to his sweat towel and wiped off all of the sweat on his face.

"Good job Chrissy," he heard someone yell behind him.

He turned around to see Soldier Sparkle-face walking his way.

"You!" Chris yelled flame igniting his hands.

"Ooh, you feisty devil you. Extinguish them, I'm just here to talk. I'm all alone. No one to interrupt our little time together."

Chris cringed, "Ew dude, just stop before I burn you to a crisp."

"I just- Gah!" Soldier Sparkle Face clutched his head.

"What's happening? Are you okay?" Chris extinguished his hands and ran up to him.

"Chrissy, my mood is changing! I don't know what to do, just run!"

"Come on we gotta get you to the-" Chris started before getting cut off with a fist flying to his face, he turned around to see laughter in Soldier Sparkle Face's face.

"Good job Cowboy. Nice reflexes, but you might want to do it a little faster," Sparkle Face corrected.

His eyebrow cocked up, "What's the matter with you Sparkle Face?"

The man's face went red, "I'm not Sparkle Face, I'm Gargantuan George."

"What?"

"Now you need to hone your reflexes first you should–"he got cut off from Violet freezing him in time.

"Who let this bozo in?" she asked frantically.

"He kinda let himself in. I don't know how he found us."

"We gotta tell the others," Violet panicked.

"Wait let's interrogate him first."

She did a little dance with her shoulders, "Ooh yay, we get to use the interrogation room."

Chris and Violet carried the frozen Spar- Gargantuan George to the interrogation room.

Chris made some chains and chained him to the chair.
