The Infinity Stones

The Tests

Everyone was brought into a large test chamber by order of General Slater. Chris, Violet, and Kaylee were standing off to the side while the rest of the team (minus Miss K) were giving them death glares.

"Now you might be wondering why I brought you all in here," General Slaters low voice crackled over the intercom, "We have some more tests for you. If you don't like it, too bad!"

An alarm sounded and six doors opened, revealing six teenagers who walked out of their respective door.

"You'll be fighting my trained soldiers," Slater laughed.

"Oh really? That's all you got? Six measly soldiers against us?" Rebecca snorted.

"Yes it's us six versus you six," the tall guy with brown hair and blue eyes standing in front of her explained with a grin on his face.

There was that tall guy, a blonde girl standing in front of Joe, a small chubby boy in front of Jack, a girl with long brown hair and sharp, cold eyes in front of Chris, a young guy with black hair and brown eyes in front of Violet and finally a tall girl with a pink streak in her hair for Kaylee.

"Ready? begin!" Slater yelled.

The team ran toward the soldiers, who raced to greet them in return. The blonde girl in front of Joe raised her hands to her temple, causing Joe to collapse the ground, clutching his head and screaming in pain. Chris ran to help his friend when suddenly he was thrown into the wall by a bolt of lightning.

When he looked up, he saw the brown haired girl holding her palm up in his direction, lighting crackled between her fingers. He tried to stand, but was shot back down, by an ice beam.

Violet sped up and ran towards her opponent, when suddenly, the skinny boy's arms turned into a familiar black liquid, and shot out, encasing her.

Rebecca floated out of her body and towards the blue eyed teen. He shot his hand out, causing her body to feel like it was on fire.

The chubby boy was holding his hands out, sending Jack slamming into the wall.

Kaylee and the pink streaked hair girl were circling each other, when the girl hit the ground and made it split open, dropping Kaylee into it. When Kaylee tried climbing out she was stopped by metal spikes enclosing around her. She put her hands out and stopped the wall, but couldn't move in risk of the spikes.

"Joe, meet Concussion, Jack that's Pilot, Kaylee that's the Huntress, Chris that girl is Jewel, Violet seems to have met Slick, and Rebecca darling, introduce yourself to Blast," Slater clapped over the intercom "These are now your new training partners. Testing is now over."

Chris finally broke out of his ice prison and walked towards Jewel. She met him halfway, her sharp eyes cutting into his.

"We're gonna have fun together Cowboy," she said with her southern drawl, and grinned before slowly walking away.

Concussion knelt in front of Joe and whispered cruelly before running out of the room, "Get ready for more pain."

Pilot just walked out of the room with no words, and the Huntress helped Kaylee out of the crevice before throwing her into the wall.
Slick's arms turned back to normal as he slid out of the room, dropping Violet to gasp on the ground.

"They found our weaknesses and put them in teenagers!" Rebecca yelled after being in her now singed body.

As Chris, Violet and Kaylee walked to their cell Jack yelled out, "Why did you do it guys?"

"You'll understand when it's over," Chris turned back.
