"You have the Power Stone. You're stronger than a body builder, and faster than an Olympic runner," Joe explained to Kaylee as they walked into the training room where Jack was waiting.
"Are you serious?" Kaylee asked excited.
"Yeah, I'm pretty serious," Joe chuckled, "We have some things in the training room to help you get used to your powers."
As they walked into the room they saw an obstacle course with high walls, lasers and trap doors.
"First test is to punch down this wall," Jack said.
"Okay, let's do this!" Kaylee said rearing back and punching the wall leaving a huge crack in it.
The boys' eyes went wide with shock, "Whoa."
Kaylee punched the wall a second time and it came crumbling down. She sped off, lasers shot at her and she dodged all of them, jumped up and broke them off the wall.
"She seems to get the hang of it,"Jack whispered to Joe.
She ran up to a long trap door, jumped over it, and kept running. She came to the training robot who had a bow staff aimed at her head. She held her hands up to block, when a purple mist shot from her hands and enveloped the robot. The mist went into the robot and back out and returned to her hands and enveloped them in a purple glow. The robot collapsed and powered off. Kaylee was in shock as Jack and Joe ran over to her.
"What did you just do?" Jack asked gesturing to her hands.
"I don't know, I was defending myself and then that happened."
"Go punch that wall," Joe offered, examining her hands.
"Okay?" Kaylee asked walking over to the last standing wall. She punched the wall and it came crashing down like the last one.
"Now pick up one of the rocks, one that's the size of a baseball."
She picked up one and the purple mist left her hands and went around the rock.
"What do I do now?"
"Throw it and run!" Joe yelled.
She threw the rock and ran to the others, as the rock made contact with the ground it exploded with the sound of a cannon.
"How did you know that would happen?" Jack asked after the explosion.
"My second conscious told me."
"Your what?" Kaylee asked confused.
"He has the mind stone, which has its own conscious that talks to him in his head," Jack explained.
"What was that?" Chris yelled with his sword in hand followed by Violet with her daggers.
"Rookie here learned a new power," Jack yelled clapping her on the back.
"What?" Violet and Chris yelled at the same time.
"Yeah, it's called energy transference. It's where she takes energy from something like the robot, and transfers it into something else, like the rock," Joe explained.
"That's really cool! Hey, it's about time for us to train her," Violet announced.
"Alright, be careful," Joe said floating out of the room.
"Yeah, don't kill 'em Rookie," Jack joked, receiving death glares from Chris and Violet before teleporting out of the room.
"Now that I think about it, maybe we should have had you not use your powers first, cause now you have to turn them off," Violet sighed.
