Fated To Meet

A/N: SORRY GUYS not a chapter. I just wanted to explain some concepts on werewolves, so that those of you guys that don't understand, understand my chapter's better. Also, some of the info will be used in future chapters.

WEREWOLF FACT 101
•Alpha
-Leader of the pack and is usually male (depends on the story). Controls the plans and leads the pack into battle. They are responsible for the lives of each pack member. Position is handed through family.
•Luna
-The alpha's mate and takes care of the well being of the pack members. They support the alpha and the pack emotionally. They work behind the scenes and take care of issues in the pack.

• Beta

- The alpha's second in command. Usually, position is given to someone the alpha and pack trusts. Takes care of the pack when the alpha isn't there. Fights alongside the alpha.

•  Pack warriors

- Werewolves that are trained in combat to defend their pack. They follow the Alpha's command.

• Pack Doctor

- A person or werewolf that tends to the injured in the pack.

• Rogue

- Wolves that have been kicked out of the pack or driven out into exile. They usually have no control over their wolves, and let their emotions control their actions. They don't live in packs and attack packs in order to try to take over. They have distinct red eyes that appear when their ties are severed from their pack.

• Mates

- Two wolves that are bonded or put together by the moon goddess. They are connected to each other mentally, and physically. Each wolf has a distinct smell that only their mate can smell. Every wolf has a mate and in rare occasions, if two wolves lose their mate they can get a second chance with another person. A wolf can also reject another wolf as a mate, but the result of the rejection is intense pain and a feeling of losing half your soul. This also applies to wolves that lose their mate, they can feel distance and empty. In other word, mates are soul mates. They are meant to be together and to balance each other out.

• Heat

-When mates meet and don't mark each other in the first month they meet. The body of the female (based on my story) will begin to force the mating bond, during heat the female will long to "mate" with their mate. The female will experience extreme pain and "heat" that will make her body seem like it's on fire. The pain can only be calmed by her mate. When the female is in heat, their pheromones are increased to attract male wolves, but when a wolf other than their mate touches them, the pain will only intensify. The heat will continue to happen until, they are marked.

• Mating and Marking

-When mates first meet, they only know that they are each other's mate. In order to complete the mating process between the male and female, they must bite each other where their neck and shoulder meet. This bite is usually done during sexual intercourse, but it doesn't have to only be done during sex. The bite can be forced, but it will hurt the person being marked, because marking requires the consensus of both parties. When the mating process is complete correctly, a mark will appear on the place of the bite. The mark can be anything for example like a moon or two wolfs together.

• Inner wolf

- Every werewolf has a wolf that they can shift into, these are their inner wolves. When a werewolf is in human form, their wolf can speak in their mind and feel their emotions. The werewolf can also feel their wolf's emotions. When werewolves shift, their inner wolves take control, while the human side takes control in human form.
