Chapter 6. Oka and Ayano's Week

Monday

"Thanks again for letting me join your club, Oka." Ayano said.

"No problem!" Oka smiled slightly.

They were making small talk after school until Nemesis passed by.

"Good bye, Yan-chan." Nemesis murmured towards Ayano and left the school grounds without turning back.

Ayano sighed.

"I-Is something bothering you, Ayano-chan?" Oka walked up to her.

"Oh... It's nothing... You sleeping over again?" Ayano asked.

"Yes. Uhm... About that... Would you mind having a roommate?" Oka cupped her hands and looked down.

"I wouldn't mind at all." Ayano smiled.

"Cool. I'll be home soon. I'm just going to grab my stuff from home. Father's in Shisuta Town for a couple of days so I'll just leave a note for him. He probably won't care though..." Oka sighed.

"That's understandable. I'll meet you back at home." Ayano waved as she walked in the opposite direction as Oka.

Oka walked to her former home and grabbed a suitcase that she kept under her bed.

She stuffed her belongings into the suitcase.

'Dear Father,

I hope you don't mind, but I have decide to move into a friend's house. This way, your roommate can sleep in my room and now he won't be sleeping on the couch.

She put her note on the table and took one more look at her home.

Oka walked to her best friend's house and opened the door with the spare key.

"Oka, can you help me out with this question?" Ayano asked. "It's for science and everyone knows that you're the Queen of Science." Ayano added.

"Sure thing." Oka giggled and looked at the question.

"That's easy." Oka concentrated on the question.

For about an hour, the two girls did their homework, helping each other out every once in a while.

Soon, Oka's stomach started growling.

Ayano made the food this time and just stirred up some Ramen, eggs, and green onions.

Their phones buzzed at the same time while they were eating.

School Board

Midori: Does anyone know where my Senpai lives?

Riku: We can't really answer that if we don't know who he is, Midori.

Mai: Yeah, who's your Senpai, Midori?

Midori: I can't say it if you're here, Mai!

Ayano rolled her eyes and turned her phone off.

"This is a ridiculous conversation." Oka turned her phone off.

They brushed their teeth after dinner and changed into their pajamas after their showers.

Ayano and Oka were cuddling, Oka's legs wrapped around Ayano's waist and her head snuggled into her chest.

"Ayano, can I ask you something?" Oka looked up at her.

"Sure, I guess."

"You don't mind me living here, do you? I don't want to annoy you..." Oka sighed, her cold breath hitting Ayano's neck.
