She Makes Me Happier// Oka X Ayano

Chapter 13. Thanks, I Guess

Oka woke up in a dark room. Familiar arms were wrapped around her and she looked and saw Ayano snoring slightly.

She smiled to herself and looked around the room.

It was Ayano's room but it was nighttime. The only light in the room was the moonlight bleeding through the curtains and Ayano's alarm clock, it's bright red font reading 11:57 p.m. It was Friday!? How could she have slept in for 3 days!?

Oka didn't realize how hungry she was until a minute later when her stomach started rumbling.

She gently escaped Oka's grasp and tiptoed her way to the kitchen (and who can't tiptoe with out activating T-Rex arms?).

Oka was startled by a certain gloved teenager that was drinking a glass of water.

"Sorry I startled you." The girl said, leaning against the counter. The moonlight reflected on her face and Oka got a glimpse of who it was.

"Nemesis." She blinked twice.

"At your service." Nemesis' red eyes pierced through the window.

Oka finally remembered the girl with Ayano, saving her from that creep.

"Thank-Thank you so much." Oka stammered.

"No need to. If you don't remember, I'm your cousin. Your dad's sister's daughter." She took the last sip of the water and rinsed it in the sink.

"I remember. You were at my 10th birthday party. And Onee-chan's funeral." Oka said grimly.

"Mitsuki-chan is in a better place now. Don't forget it." Nemesis said.

"Mhmm." Oka agreed with one nod and yawned.

"You should get some sleep. You had a rough week." Nemesis escorted Oka to Ayano's room and said goodnight.

Oka and Ayano woke up at the same time.

"Hi, love." Ayano kissed Oka's forehead.

"Good morning... darling..?" Oka kissed her cheek.

"Hmm... What nickname suits me? How about... Ayano-sama?" Ayano laughed.

"Haha," Oka laughed sarcastically, "I'll call you... Yan-chan."

"But everyone calls me that."

"Yan-sama." Oka rolled her eyes.

"I like it." Ayano laughed and kissed Oka's delicate lips.

Oka smiled into the kiss and started playing with Ayano's hair.

"Okay, lovebirds. Get up. I made breakfast." Nemesis was at the door way.

Oka started blushing and got up.

"Sorry about that. What did you make?" Oka asked.

"I got pretty lazy so I just made miso soup." Nemesis shrugged.

"We'll be there in a sec." Ayano said and hugged Oka's torso.

Nemesis rolled her eyes and went into the dining room.

Ayano pecked Oka's shoulder to her jawline and made her way to Oka's lips.

Oka giggled after a second or two and pulled away.

"I'm going to get ready. For the day." Oka informed.

"Good idea." Ayano yawned with a smile.

Ayano took off her shirt, revealing her simple black bra and Oka started blushing.

"Calm down. You've seen better." Ayano winked.

Oka laughed nervously and took off her shirt and threw on a black Deathnote sweater and a black flowy skirt made of leather, throwing on black leggings just for fun.

Ayano wore a simple black T-shirt and high wasted pants.

They sat down at the table and Nemesis set their bowls down in front of them.

"They aren't hot. It's pretty warm. Not even close to cold though." Nemesis informed.

Oka took a sip and moaned. "This is delicious."

Ayano took a sip and spit it out immediately.

"H-H-Hot!" She screamed.

"Sorry. I must have accidentally put a lot of pepper and cinnamon in your miso." Nemesis snickered.

"How could you 'accidentally' put pepper and cinnamon in miso soup!?" Ayano yelled, "And you were Snapchatting it!?"

"Whoops." Nemesis shrugged.

"Well... I guess... Thank you. For helping me save her." Ayano glared at her after she got some water.

"I'm sorry. What was that? I couldn't hear you over your ego. Can you say that one more time for me?" Nemesis smiled innocently.

"I said thank you!" Ayano steamed.

"That's better. Well then, you're welcome. And also, that was pay back for giving me that kind of trouble." Nemesis teased.

"Shut up already!"
