Chapter 13

I am such a failure TT^TT

Chapter 13.

Naru stood next to Ishi watching Kakashi, Sakura and Itachi get ready for their final test, before they would return to Konoha to take their exam to become anbu. The last two weeks flew by in a blur. Naru pushed them nearly to their breaking point, covering every bit that they would come across in this exam, and finally tonight they would have one last battle, covering it all, going all out. Her and Ishi versus them.

Luckily and much to Naru's happiness Kakashi and Sakura took to Itachi right away and they worked better than they ever did with Sasuke.

"Alright now, don't forget this battle is your final test, it's an all out battle, covering everything you've learned." Naru said. "The time is three hours, it's to evade us and the traps, your goal is to try to capture Ishi and I." She said. "You are suppose to get this scroll from us." Naru said holding one out. "Make sure you're not captured two times or you fail." She said, they nodded their heads and walked to the forest edge and waited. "Good luck. Begin." She said, the three shot out into the darkness.

"Ready?" Ishi asked after five minutes, she nodded and checked her weapons before shooting out after them with Ishi next to her.

They raced through the darkness, Naru stopped in the dark and sniffed the air focusing chakra in her nose strengthening her sense of smell. She caught the scent of Kakashi and shot forward following it, she appeared above him bringing her katana down nearly striking him, he spun around and gave a solid kick sending her back. She cried out as she was entangled in wires, Kakashi gave her a salute and disappeared in smoke, she growled and began to cut the wires.

She jumped down and huffed as she looked around the dark. A loud explosion sounded in the distance, the bright light lit up the darkness, Naru looked around and smirked as she saw traps laid out along the pathway. 'excellent..' She thought.

She focused and shot up in the trees dodging the traps, she landed at the top and held her hands together focusing her chakra before disappearing again.

Sakura jumped through the trees after separating from Kakashi under Itachi's orders. She stood in the center focusing her chakra sending out a burst of it, giving away her location. She smirked as Naru's shadow appeared in the moonlight. She smirked but it fell as she watched multiple shadow's of Naru appeared all around.

Sakura focused and threw kunai out in the direction of the shadows and watched them all disappear but one. "Gotcha!" She said, Naru jumped down and smirked taunting her forward, Sakura jumped forward and threw punches at her quickly which Naru dodged.

Sakura swung her fist and changed at the last second using her fingers to strike Naru's wrist. Naru grunted and skidded back holding her wrist tight as it went numb. "Nice job." She said, Sakura smirked. "Let's see what you do next." She said. "Purazuma booru no jutsu!" She said, Sakura grunted in pain as a bright light shined from Naru getting brighter and brighter until she couldn't see anything and was forced to keep her eyes shut tight.

Naru focused her chakra and raced forward slamming into Sakura knocking her to the ground.

"Kaminari ōkami no jutsu!" She heard before a crackling howl sounded and a wolf of lightning appeared, she flipped in the air dodging it and threw a kunai at it causing it to disappear.

"Come out Kakashi." She taunted and watched him appear in the brightness.

"Enju no jutsu!" She said, chakra appeared over her hand, she shot forward as the light disappeared in the area. Kakashi pulled out some kunai and began to deflect her swipes of chakra.
