Chapter 7

Long wait, sorry... life has been.... chaotic.

Chapter 7.

Naru and Ishi stood at the gates and watched as the three walked up each carrying a duffle bag.

"Ready?" Ishi questioned them and they agreed. "Let's go."

They all set out traveling through the woods quickly and quietly, they arrived at a large ravine with a broken bridge. "Wow..." Ishi muttered, Naru gave snort and pulled out a rope with a kunai attached and flung it to the other side, it slammed into a tree and stuck. She pulled harshly before pushing off and swung over landing on the other side, she attached a small weapon on the other end and threw it back. Ishi caught it and motioned for the others, Kakashi went first and landed next to Naru. She couldn't stop herself from stepped away from him which he noticed and frowned slightly.

"I hate rope swings..." Sakura muttered grabbing the rope and swinging across, she yelped and held on as it moved back, the rope stopped moving leaving her hanging over the edge. Naru sighed with an eye roll.

"Get up here 012601.." She called.

"I-"

"NOW!" She barked, Sakura let out muttered curses as she slowly climbed up the rope, Kakashi bent down and held his hands out and pulled her up.

"Thanks Kakashi-sensei." Sakura muttered, he chuckled and nodded, Naru gritted her teeth and balled her fists up, she turned and began to walk down the path as Kakashi sent the rope back for Sasuke and Ishi.

They arrived at the medium sized cabin, it had a large area out front with training dummies and posts that were beaten up, a campfire area and a trail to the left. "Welcome to your home." Naru stated and walked up opening the door and walking in coughing at the dust that even got through her mask. "Stay back." She called and focused, they watched as a cloud of dust, cobwebs and different bugs flew through the door. "Alright." She said, they walked in looking at the spacious cabin. There was a somewhat kitchen with various cupboards and a small fridge, a simple table with five chairs around it. A large area was next to it with a section of six trunks were together against the wall. Six cots were folded next to them propped up, a small door to the right stood shut and a regular size door was to the left.

"Grab a cot and trunk and set up." She said tossing her bag to the side and grabbed a cot dragging it towards the table and set it down brushing it off. Everyone grabbed one and set them up, Ishi took the spot next to her and the others were on the other side of the room.

"Great..." Sakura sneered brushing hers off. Naru opened her bag and pulled out a sleeping bag laying it down followed by the others.

Naru sighed as she looked around before walking outside and began to hit the training post, Ishi walked to the river to get water while the others walked around and explored their home away from home. Naru kept seeing Kakashi help Sakura in her mind, she growled and punched the post and put a dent in it, she pulled back with splinters in her hand.

"Whoa... nice.." She flinched as Kakashi appeared behind her, she began to pull the splinters out of her hand. "Careful, it could get infected..." He said grabbing her hand and carefully pulled a few off, Naru stared at him confused, he gave her a smirk that could could barely see with his mask. "There ya go.." He said.

"Thanks.." She mumbled pulling away.

"So how long have you been in anbu? Snow leopard said you were in for a short time.." He said, Naru walked past him without a word. "Well?" He called but she ignored him and walked to the cabin and trifled through her pack before pulling out three folders.
